Comparing the sound of the 2018 Road King with stock intake and exhaust to the sound of the same bike upgraded with an Arlen Ness Inverted Sucker air cleaner, Vance & Hines Dresser Duals head pipes, and Vance and Hines Oversized 450 Titan mufflers.

Stock exhaust sounds pretty good, actually. Especially in person. Not that other one is bad or something 🙂 In my humble opinion, of course 🙂 Either one 👍🏻

I have a standard 2018 Road King in Silver Fortune and Sumatra Brown. I like all the chrome. I never understood all the hype over the "Special". to me it actually looks cheaper than the standard RK and is butt ugly. No screen and passing lights and its actually more expensive? Also the this new "blacked out" thing has put me off a lot of the new models. Chrome all the way. I still have the stock pipes I actually don't mind the sound of them. Anyway for long distance touring a quieter ride is not a bad thing. The twisted cherry colour looks awesome. The 2019 Road King colours are a little disappointing.

I just bought a 19 special today and the only reason I got one is for the 114 cant speak for others but my buddy bought a low rider s soley for the 110 motor. my 16 lowrider was all chromed out and I loved it. I just wanna go fast and couldn't get a 114 chrome I believe
