Very cool! Never got the opportunity to see a Strates circus/ carnival train load or unload, but have seen RBBB load and unload numerous times. Unfortunately it’s a thing of the past, but glad I had the opportunity to share some experiences with my son ❤

I remember hauling a circus train once on the CC...I don't remember which one though, was over 30 years ago and all my switch list got demolished in a hurricane...I do remember a blue Mack...

There was a circus that would come into Philadelphia, PA. To a field called Lighthouse Field, around the 1960s - 70s. They did the same thing but used their elephants to move the trailers through the streets.

Imagine a truck that long going down the highway. How many trailers was that, 9? That poor Sterling that has to pull all that up there..

Me, I’m hoping it has enough breaks to stop all that when it comes off of the train. Because those trailers don’t have any brakes on them.

@LJT7907 they've got brakes but there's no way to hook them all together, even if you could, they would all deplete the truck's reservoir completely in one go...

La via es muy estrecha y aunque entran esos vehículos no puede, el tren, tener mucha estabilidad. Son más grandes los remolques que los vagones. El ancho de via ese se ha quedado obsoleto.
