"The Process" has failed in one aspect for sure: having quality kickers who surely wouldn't mind kicking for rings every year. baffling. I'll never get over blowing the '13 Iron Bowl, 3-peat Nattie and McCarron Heisman all because of Cade Foster missing three FGs, two from less than 34 yards. Of course, it would help if Bama O Line would quit jumping off before kicks (Pappa actually made the kick early vs UGA from 35 but someone moved and he missed from 40; oddly, one of those '13 Soybean Bowl [Iron Bowl when played in Aw-Barn] misses by Foster was made by him from 28, but someone moved and he missed from 33. Never forget those misses. Incredible. I was so numbed by that and 4th and 1 (forced by Foster incompetence)...that I wasn't stunned by Kick Six; strange but true. I figured if he missed it, we were done in OT anyway, with no FG kicker on the road and destined not to take the win.

Clemson completely failed the clock management game in the last half of the 4th. They could've created the opportunity to do something with 6-7 minutes, but they seemed to just give up, didn't use time outs, didn't try to get out of bounds. Very strange. The only thing I can figure is that Dabo was just playing to get an honorable score and keep his team from being injured.

sadly, all Dabo accomplished was getting Anfernee Jennings badly hurt with 2:30 left (thanks to Hurts not being able to pass and pick up a first down; which led to Daboll scolding which, in turn, imho, cost us Daboll). We may pay for that injury next year if he's not himself. He was superman vs Clemson. Having him up there vs UGA with Payne and #99 would've likely made the comeback even better and might've even held down the damage in first half (though Saban would then have left Hurts in to start 2d half).

It weird the way it works. After losing to the barn I thought Jalen didn’t have what it took to get us past Clemson. Well, he definitely did as this Clemson team was pretty dang overrated and slipped by on cause a weak ACC. Of course we end up beating UGA. Next year I’m thinking there’s no chance Clemson can beat Tua/Juedy/Ruggs/Smitty/Waddle/Najee/Damien Harris. Was wrong again. lol.
