I have same boat.... I love it I have a 115 outboard too and it scoots thru the water has plenty of power I've pulled the kids around on a tube no problem

I asked Bass Pro Shop about rigging out a new 195 Pro Team with a hand controlled Motorguide trolling motor and they said they come as a package and I would need to sell the trolling motor that comes on the boat and I could then purchase the trolling motor that I preferred and pay them to install it. I told them I would buy a different brand of boat that comes as I want not as they want. Sounds like a great way to lose customers to me. I think the smart thing is to sell the customer what they need and want and they will be happy and be a return customer in the future. They give a choice of the outboard upgrade but not on the trolling motor like everyone wants the same model and brand of trolling motor that everyone else has?

I agree with that. The two big trolling brands are both great. Not offering what the customer would like is very dumb. Also have you heard about the new lowrance trolling motor coming out? Look up the pictures

I had the same issue. I ended up buying a tournament edition so I didnt have to deal with buying things I would need to upgrade and then sell stuff I just bought. Its completely stupid that you can't add what you want on these boats.

I also hated not being about to purchase the black one. The TE only comes in red and white.....

BPS said the same today. But if you go to a dealer other then then, you can put whatever you want in it. You’ll have to pay an up charge at most places so be sure to check that price. You’ll also pay labor of course or do it all yourself. BPS is the 6 dealer I’ve now gone to this year. Went to (Cabela’s which is owned by BPS) as well today. But that was to look at the RT Rangers. Hope you found what your looking for and this helps any who might come across it! Be careful out there, used car salesmen have got NOTHING on allot of these boat dealers!

Not having any options is one reason I am looking at other boat brands, such as Xpress. It's crazy to have to replace items and sell what is already on the boat. Plus, nobody will pay full price for the items you just took off the boat, even if they have never been used.

the ranger rt188 def. seems like a better deal. Not as much of a difference between the tracker 170,175, and 190. I think the 170 and 175 are great budget bass boats but if your're gonna spend the money should probably go with a ranger aluminum instead.

Great video showing all the details of your boat. I saw the video you posted about the issue with the oil leak on the motor. Is that issue held up ? I’m going to look at one just like yours today. Are you still happy with the boat and would you purchase it again?

Got the 2018 Tracker 195. One thing you’ll notice is that the seats sit to low, I’m 5’11”. But besides that it’s an awesome boat.

Daniel Walker congrats on the rig! For me I didn’t find the seating to be too low, as the seats sat much much lower in my old stratos. With that being said I can definitely see how compared to some other boats the seating position could be a bit low.

I appreciate it! It was a frustrating process but everything seems to be back in order. If my memory serves me correctly the 190 only needs 13"

Save your money on them wheels and buy a new fish finder with GPS. I picked up a 190 early spring and love it. Only thing that sucks is when in reverse the boat tends to just go straight. Other than that I love mine. I have the regular 115hp on mine and I hit 49mph. Not bad.

Chad Moyer thanks for the view! Already have a helix 5 with gps that’s being rigged up currently. I will more than likely ride these wheels out and put money into a better graph for the bow. Looking to make a video with the upgrades I have going on once I get it back from the dealer!

Hey Chad, trim your motor way up if you need more control when reversing. This allows the water pressure to get pushed under the boat vs the water shooting back into the back of your boat.

two completely different boats. The Ranger is all aluminum, and a fiberglass console, and a better padded hull. these trackers are all wood and plastic - after a couple years of use you'll know it walking the deck too. For a couple years i was all over the tracker before doing some serious research before buying one, and i'm glad i spent more on the Ranger because the Ranger is an incredibly better built aluminum boat.

Don't listen to these guys. Had mine for 8 years. Deck was solid as a rock when I sold it and carpet was in great shape as well. Keep it dry ( as anyone should) and you'll be fine. Only sold mine to go bigger. Can't make all these experts happy 😂

I keep wanting a boat but I feel I can enjoy fishing just as much if not more with a quality kayak and save thousands upon thousands! I will never fish a tourney so no need for a boat, but they sure are cool.

Sorry but had a kayak and and wasn't able to fish what and where I wanted to fish found a boat for the same price as my fishing yak. And am not looking back. And I don't fish tournaments neither....

I thought very hard about just getting a fishing kayak but I ended up buying a 190 TE because I dont want to have to paddle around and I want to be able to cover as much water as possible when I actually have time to fish. Plus my wife wasn't liking the idea of me taking a kayak out alone on a lake. She thought I'd get run over by some drunk idiot lol.

I’ve been debating the same thing, and am looking at possibly purchasing this boat. Thing is where I live it’s all rivers, not lakes, and the currents can be really swift so a kayak probably won’t cut it for that.

Tyler Thomas advertised top speed is 47, I’ve been able to get that with two guys (me included) on the speedo, trimmed out with one guy you could maybe get 1-2 more mph. waiting to get it back with my GPS installed to measure against the speedo. Its a great boat, you’ll love it 👍🏼

Add an Evinrude 115 HO and pick up some more speed if that’s what you’re looking for. But...... the repower is expensive because of the controls that have to be changed. My PT 190 is an 08, so mine is rated up to a 135, I think it was in 2014 when they dropped the rating to 115.... when Mercury quit making the opti max 135😉
