I test rode the 1200 Xca a couple of days ago so it's all still fresh. I agree with everything. High speed cornering surprised me too. Low speed maneuver was also very easy considering size, height and weight. A fun all rounder bike with plenty of power that handles almost as well as the 800. My sensible choice is going to be the 800, probably XRt as mostly road and city use for me. Great reviews.

Watched your CrossTourer videos and was very close to pulling the trigger tilI saw this on the showroom floor . . Seems like u like it ? But puts off a lot of heat .maybe not so good in Florida? I found a new 18 hugely discounted. Great video . Your CrossTourer looks awesome.

both good bikes...I love my crosstourer it has been an awesome bike! I have had it now for 4 years and still in love, personally I don't think I would change. The heat issue is not unbearable, but it is there. You should take both for a ride before you decide. Good Luck and I think that you can't go wrong with either choice. cheers!

Nice review. Seriously considering either the Tiger 1200 or the Tiger 800. Finally, someone who's not afraid to get it up to some speed. Would you consider the engine heat a deal breaker for riding in hot weather? Thanks
@0to100Adventure5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I really only had the bike for a few hours and noticed the heat so it is difficult to say if it is a deal breaker or not. Personally I would not say that it is unbearable but noticeable. The best is to try it out for yourself before making the purchase. Good luck with your choice and safe travels!

Congratulations on producing a superb review of the Triumph Tiger 1200!! It was all too good to be true, untill you sound her up a bit and got roasted thighs 🤒. The combination of engine heat, plus the hot draught from the radiator fans, would certainly be unbearable in a hot country. Still it wouldn't be too hard to fix?!! If Triumph could vent the fans downwards and outwards, whilst venting fresh air past the engine casings, to which they could include old fashioned cooling fins, it might save ROASTED 🌰🌰

Now I still did not my choice between Spacetourer and Explorer... hmmmm any suggestions ?
@markkulyas24185 жыл бұрын
What an excellent review, I was hoping the other reviews about the heat cuming up through your legs and crotch were not true :( that looks like such a beautiful bike but the heat in the summer time would be torture, don't these companies test ride these bikes before putting them into production. I digress, the bike is probably perfect for cold climates like England, comes with leg and crotch warmers.

I assume this runs on premium gas? Consider a used Tiger 1200 and a new Super Tenere.

How's the hydraulic clutch in the bike? I noticed you often left open yout throttle while you clutched. The electric throttle was set too slow reachtioning or the clutch was that much lighter compared to wired clutch?
@ThorVeras6 жыл бұрын
this bike have quickshifter. He dont need to use the clutch. And you can use the quickshifter up and down and full open.
