I’ve driven the GTE I have to say I’m shocked it’s rather relentless from 70mph -140 mph it just kept on pulling Feels much like a GTI than 1.4 hybrid .

DrivingPOVz My Brother Has a Mondeo ST220 3.0 V6 Stock . He keeps it Nice I had the GTE on hire for a W/end we spent that w/end being a pair of idiots have to say I was surprised he couldn’t get past , I couldn’t drop him either . He reckoned he had to lift off but didn’t have enough power to overtake in good time . 😆 yeah right !

+dylanson Yes, every E-Golf is fitted with system which is recharging the battery when you release the gas pedal.

@@JGreen444 Get out of wrong side of bed today? Insults uneeded. 136hp - Exactly - but an EV has easily capacity to put a larger power motor in which is why I won't be buying. They arent heavy and/or expensive like in combustions cars. WHich is why its weak for an EV. I'm sure that many people who like a dawdling car will be happy with.. Not me.
