If you are still testing dog bone inserts, I have a recommendation. I just started running the APR steel dog bone insert. I used a new bolt and used a lot of Permatex 80653 on the whole insert. I feel like the lube helps prevent any extra vibration. So far, I notice little to no added vibrations. I only notice a small amount in reverse with max ac and going 1 mph with my foot on the brake. However, I run a non-resonated cat back and I have VW’s DCC which might be hiding some vibrations, but my car is very quiet and comfortable. Also thank you for the putting the car in neutral tip. It made installing the insert easy.

dude that is a strong tip... cuz i actually skipped the lube this time.. makes me wonder. those things come so slippery and push in so easy.. and lube attracts dirt.. but i guess i'd have to try it.

@@LastHumansGarage hopefully it helps!!! Also you might be right on your insert feeling sloppy because APR claims all poly or aluminum insert deform or crack. But this is probably to get people to buy their steel inserts.
