I'll have to consider one of these. Not because I need one for structural support, but because it will give me a cargo retention bar now that I have my "rear seat delete" installed again. I like that the part includes hoops at the ends for attaching straps for cargo retention. On another project, I discovered a gel blue thread locker. It's thicker and will not run like the other stuff. I like it. Thanks for sharing this video.

I still like it. I mean you can move it a bit w your hand, as the end points aren't super stiff. but I do believe it keeps the side to side flex under control either way.

The front eurocode bar is amazing, I tied in the rear eurocode bar with the eurosport bar.

Nice mod , looks high quality. I wonder if the position of the brace makes a difference as far body rigidity . Reminds me of the Tyrol sport single brace I have on my mk6 . Definitely no sticker lol

i liked the MK6 a lot. But only with the LED Tails from BKS tuning. It made the car look like an Audi.

Bro... that was an absolutely stress-free mod :-) Nice to hang out on a Saturday evening. In the past, you used to have this bottom undercarriage brace thingy (cannot remember the proper name). Would you ever consider to re-install that as well? It was a big sticker item I think. Since I installed the billies in the rear, the front feels sloppy... darn, think I do have to do the front billies as well. I'll wait until next year though. Since your GTI only has 30,000 miles, you will not have this issue.

naw, not much. what solves most of that is a Unibrace UBQ.

Hello all, so recently my 2017 gti has started to have a clicking noise in the passenger seat glove box when i start the car and then turns off after about 10 sec. any recommendations would be helpful thanks

1 idea harkens back to my mk6 days.. the plastic fuel line runs under the car behind the glove box. And the fuel line can rattle. We used to look in the frame rails under car, and shove up foam or packing to stop the fuel lines moving.. just an idea.
