I have exactly all of these decks I made it passed prelims (easily) but as I have a life a job and a baby I just didn't have the time to commit to get much passed there. Realistically if you want to win be prepared to DEVOTE YOUR LIFE to yugioh for a while

ya i agree kinda, its not that interesting to see the same 4/5 decks and matchups that you see on the ladder being played in this finals. On the other hand though, they are trying to win so it makes sense for them to play the strong decks, even if they are kinda boring to watch. I'd think then it should fall on the devs to make other, more interesting decks viable for high level play.

Exactly and the worst part is I bet with you he and this Silva dude both got to the final through hacks, cause there was absolutely nothing special about their playing style. I think in these types of tournaments - since they're actually giving out prizes. They should ban the use of meta decks, its fine if you used the meta decks to get to the championships, but once you're there - limit them because it just becomes unfair.

If you want to be at WCS-level of competitiveness, sure. But for a KOG rank it's not necessary at all. I made it to KOG 10 times while being 100% F2P and top 10000 a bunch of times. Just know where to use those gemmies.
