I bought one new in 1984 for $4,000. At the time it was an outstanding performer. Somehow I managed to survive four years of insane riding without a scratch on me or the bike.

Great bike. FYI, Honda Australia raced these instead on the VF1000R because they were quicker ( primarily handling). Mal Campbell ( Honda Australia jockey) was great on the VF1000.
