Hi, I have a question. Is it the same color as interior lighting or does it come with darker tone of blue. I am asking this because I already have those door inserts with ice blue color which is perfectly matching interior lighting of rav4.

Its more of a royal blue

I have heard the LED dashboard comes with an on off switch. I was considering getting the option from cartrimhome that includes the cup holder light but am worried the on off switch wouldn’t turn off the cup holder light. Can anyone please let me know regarding this?

Yes under dash lights got some switch now, and the cup holder lights can’t be turned off manually when the car is on

did you ever find out what that wire was for that was connected to cupholder? Also did you try it with the carbon fiber trim to see how it looks?

So I installed mine but mine don’t work can’t seem to find out if I’m using the right connector or if I have a faulty unit or if I pinched the wire

If the connector easily plugs in then you are using the correct connection, try to test it if you got some extra cables lying around by connecting the wires to the + and - of the battery

@ yup that will be my next step. I have a feeling mine could be faulty or i pinched the wire.

UPDATE : I got them to work no faulty unit. So I have an LE model with no usb ports in the center console I just have dead wires running through there. so if anyone is having the same issue run the wire to the back side of the center console where you might have usb or extra cigarette lighter ports that will do the trick.

I haven’t seen it at night, i just installed it earlier, and my wife drives it, i’ll try to check this week if i get a chance to see it at night time.

2021 RAV4 Prime XSE owners do not buy will not have the extra wire to power the light. I just got mines 10/29/24 I tried installing it will not work unless you know how to tap into the other wire for power.

I think i read it on some fb groups the connection for it is through the aux power port, i’ll check
