So I know I might get some hate for this but it is what it is. CAI's don't do shit in a lot of situations, but the stock air intake on the 2014 to 2018 5.3's are made to be quite. They are restrictive as hell as a result all you hear is the DI. They also have some BS butterfly valve in the exhaust. A CAI and a CAT back on these engines dose give more power in the lower RPM range where most of us drive. It wont break your neck but it will feel and sound better.
