Notice that OEM does not use metal End Caps. Metal End Caps are not an indication of Quality in conventional Oil Filter design.

I have to be real. I just did an oil change with this type of filter. You can just unscrew it a bit and it does the same thing just might have unscrew it more when it slows down. The only other difference is you can unscrew it white it drains simultaneously. Useful for a shop setting where you’d see multiple cars a day but for a single person doing their own oil change, this is quite a waste of time. A couple of those blue shop towels and your hands are clean again 🧼

I followed your instructions, thank you for the video. The message went away after I disconnected both batteries and waited 20 mins. I replaced the battery with OEM as well. The stop/start does not work though, do I need to do anything to reactivate it ?

Thank you so much for making this video. I need some advice. I have watched the video a few times before trying to replace my support battery. I haven't change it for 7 years and didn't even know it exist. I followed your instructions until got stuck removing the bolts. I have removed the right side, but the left side for whatever reason won't come out. I used a 6-point 8mm ratchet wrench. I sprayed multiple times of WD40 and PB blasts with 2-3 hours waiting between each spray and wire brush trying to removed any rust, but still can't unscrew. I noticed the battery cover moving up and down while I was unscrewing. Could you please tell me what that means and what else can I try to remove the bolt? I have tried more than 24 hours so far. Please help. Thank you.

It's a cheap red car quest oil filter. Do it to a quality oil filter. It holds oil. It'll spill out the top when removing.
