Durable Build Quality. This hood scoop comes in a unique 2-piece configuration and is constructed from high-quality ABS plastic for maximum durability and resistance to deterioration over time. This component is then made using a high-tech machine-forming process and features an eye-catching satin black finish to give your truck a sleek style. No Frills Install Procedure. This hood scoop comes pre-equipped with 3M automotive-grade, double-sided adhesive backing tape that’s used in conjunction with the included polyurethane adhesive. No cutting or drilling to your truck is needed. That said, it is advised that you should thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces first before applying the included adhesive promoter. Furthermore, please warm-up the mounting surfaces with a heat gun, hairdryer, or by running your engine. This is because the adhesive tape is more effective on surfaces with a temperature of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Finally, if you plan on painting the hood scoop to do so before installing make the process more efficient.

I installed this last August. Looked good on my Trail Boss until this week when we started getting temps over 100 degrees up here in Boston. The Scoop started to come off on the highway the glue softened up and the double-sided tape didn't hold. There I was in the high-speed lane towing a jet ski and this thing coming off in rush hour traffic ... NOT GOOD I will be calling Air Design first thing in the AM

Truck looks better without that big gawdy looking plastic mess on the hood...lol. What's the point of that piece that is separate that you have to stick on? Why isn't it all one piece? Hood scoop should be molded from the factory as one piece.
