Just a quick video and tutorial on changing the oil on a 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio.

You’re welcome. The oil, believe it or not, was Penzoil from Walmart. The filter was one that DJ was trying from amazon. He always sends in an oil sample with each oil change.

@pilgrimsgarage Looked online and they changed the filter for post 2021 models. It's US$226 for the filter.

One more thing, I believe DJ commented on someone’s comment on here saying the filter number and that set of pliers he use. I’m not sure which comment it is but it’s a reply.

Excellent video! Nice job guys. I would NEVER have thought of looking for the oil filter in that location. A question for you . . . I'm half a tool junky, but I've never seen hose clamp pliers like the ones you used for the oil filter housing. What are they called? And who makes them?

I believe they are called boot clamp pliers. DJ got them on Amazon. They are very easy to use but personally I would change them to a regular hose clamp just for simplicity.

What were the tools you used to loosen and retighten the exhaust hoses? Also which oil do you recommend? I do wish I had a garage. Sigh

Believe it or not, DJ just uses Penzoil or whatever on sale. He changes the oil religiously and I believe it’s 7 quarts. The tool he used he bought on Amazon but I do not remember what it’s called. I think he says what it is. If you have a Quadrifoglio you’re a badass!😉. That thing is amazingly fast and corners like a Ferrari.

How about resetting the oil change warning? I read somewhere that you need a special software do to so. I"m not sure if this is true for 2019 or started with 2020, mine is a 2019 model.

Has to be done at the dealer. If you want to do it at home you need a SW bypass for the software and then buy the software. Good thing is it only shows in the maintenance menu and not on any other screen.
