@@tarunsharma209 That was the for the fastest run. The robots have to find the quickest route to the designated part of the maze. So the robots have to map the maze and find the quickest route in the first run. The second run is the one with the crazy fast robotic mouse video you linked.

No idea, but to be able to handle the G-force so clean the mouse must have a close-to-floor stable center of gravity

The rubber tires don't have treads, so even a little dirt can reduce the traction. If the wheels don't have the same traction the turns become less precise.

It’s a robot race. Basically the robot first has to find the quickest path to the center. Then it races to see how fast it can get to the center. It’s not controlled by anyone. The programming allows it to learn as it goes.

Aside from the chances of someone accidentally bumping or breaking part of the maze, that might also track dirt onto the course that could mess with the sensors and/or wheels of the competitors.
