Slow.....hmmm. 2 races at 10f under 2 min... fastest Manhattan at 10f, 3rd fastest Arlington Million (and the fractions were pretty pedestrian 24/48/1:12) to STILL run 1:59. But please, tell me more about how "slow" he is.

Whilst i agree the winner would be comfortably beaten by Enable. The reason Magic Wand was 50 lengths behind Enable recently,was because she was not suited by the ground,it was to slow for her,and donnacha obrien eased her down.She would have been closer if the ground was in her favour.Magic Wand is a Good Horse,where as Enable is a superstar.

Bricks and Mortar would get lapped by Enable. Magic Wand has reasonable yielding track form but was beaten out of sight in the King George, to come out at her next run and get within a length of the best middle distance turf horse in the US.

If B&M could get a firm track he might be able to get with 5/6L of the best European middle distance horses over 10F. Nothing to be sniffed at. In most years the best middle distance horses will be from Europe.

Magic Wand was 2 lengths back from Magical in the Irish Champion a month later. And Magical barely gained a half length on her in the stretch. If you call Magic Wand average, what does that say about Magical?
