I really like Audi styling, its clean with just the right amount of creases and curves and the wheel choices are always on point. Plus the interiors look so nice from the stitching in the seats to the materials used to even the fonts in the displays.

Aryan sharma, touch screens overall is cheap... They have a cheaper feel than a mechanical button/wheel, you can’t know where you’re touching without looking, they are cheaper to make, they are cheaper to maintain, they reflect sunshine, they get greasy/dusty easily... not as good and cheaper!

So happy you guys reviewed this. I am a huge Audi fangirl and really wanted to see what the newest gen A7 is like. I still hate the rear lights and the general rear end of the car, but that front is a killer. Glad the drive is amazing, I know Audi's have often been criticized for being very bland. Love this car! way too expensive though!

It’s because in BMW, you only get one button for heated and cooled seats. When you press it, it goes max heat but also shows a new full screen menu for you to then click the screen to selected cooled seats or heated seats. It’s convoluted. Like the rest of BMW.

This is the first car with tail lights across the back that I’ve ever found attractive. I’ve never been a fan this design (still aren’t) but in this car it works. It helps that it actually lights up across too unlike the new Soul headlights which don’t or the Sportage tail lights which also don’t.

great review! I got this exact version and the only gripe i had was the rear diffuser looking plain and no exhaust tips so i did a cosmetic upgrade with an s7 rear diffuser and dual chrome tips....now it looks awesome and more aggressive

The rear light bar trend is the absolute worst thing to ever happen to auto design. I've yet to see a single one that looks good, this A7 might be the worst yet. The front end is pretty bad too, the old A7 was one of the best looking cars on the market and now we have this, yikes.

Great video guys! I have a 2014 Audi S4 and it's by far the best car I've ever had. I take the kids to school in the morning, and smoke a muscle car off the line before work! I think Audi honestly does the best interiors of any brand, and quattro is an amazing awd system. I would love to see an R8 V10 plus on here or TTRS. Even the RS3 if you haven't done it. 👍

Matthew, I’m looking at an A7 (2019)… have you had any earth shattering repairs on your 2012? I’ve heard certain electronic repairs can be 5-8k.

@@Goldmember66 The most annoying thing I’ve had to deal with repeatedly was the adaptive cruise control. It only worked properly for the first year of ownership, and then never stayed fixed for long. And rather than pay to have it recalibrated every time it went wrong, I thought I’d enjoy driving the car myself. During my third and final year of ownership of the 2012 car, I spent about 5K, cruise control aforementioned, servicing, and replacing flex pipes on the exhaust. After a catastrophic accident last fall, I ponied up for a 2016 S7. Against my better judgement, perhaps. But I love these cars. As is often said, your mileage may vary, but it’ll be wise to get a certified pre-owned car with a good warranty.

@@Goldmember66 Oh, and one more thing: biggest thing I had to repair was the infotainment screen. The harness develops kinks that eventually perish and make the screen inoperable. Rising up out of the dash and back down again countless times during the life of the car… it makes sense that the more recent models have fixed screens; less to go wrong.

I'd love to see an A3 review, I know you guys did the performance version last year but they've made a few improvements to the interior and I think now that you've seen more entry-level luxury models you might be able to give better insight - I have a 2015 A3 and am interested to see what you guys think of the interior and tech and whatnot now, especially the safety tech features like radar cruise, when compared to other options.
