I love big Audi. When it first arrived, it was just named Audi V8. I still remember that it was a great looking car. I think it’s not as flashy as big Benz. It’s not as over stretched like the 7 series beemer. Very luxurious and sporty, but not too bulky.

How’s the update going to happen? What do the auto manufacturers need to accomplish to get to their car to the next level of autonomous driving, 2 to 3 or 3 to 4.

You’ve just hit on why full autonomy is still a ways off. The tech is available. But if no one is driving, Ahow do the states continue to justify requiring a license and insurance? That’s a huge lobby in a multi billion dollar industry that doesn’t want a car that can actually drive independently. So for now all “self driving” tech comes with a warning that it is a driver aid only, and the driver is still responsible for operating the vehicle. Also why it reminds you to put your hands back on the wheel.

That is NOT the 2019 A8 instrument panel! And, for the record, the actual production model's is much better: Larger, cleaner/uncluttered, and more attractive. The one in this video shows analog gas and Temp gauges off to the sides, but he actual panel has them included in the graphics - nothing analog at all. What gives? Pre-production model maybe?

Slowest engine for that car should be V8 TDI, that V6 petrol is underwhelming even in the new A6 and yes i have driven it. In numbers not so bad but feels like a 4 cyl A5, the 252hp A5 even feels faster.
