I have a new RS5 which falls well short of this car. While I was awaiting delivery of RS5 I took an RS3 and TTRS out for a ride. If I were able to get rid of my RS5 I would be driving this RS3.
@grownsimba81206 жыл бұрын
Think you would be able to live with the haldex version of the Torsen version? I know many people love the RS3 smaller size and tossing ability. But that is a genuine thing to look at. Not to mention I've heard that the RS3 s have had some differential issues when looking on Audizine. I do really like the RS3 though.
@seinsmeld136 жыл бұрын
@@grownsimba8120 I would put up with the AWD system. Not concerned with mechanical issues as I've always had great results with my VAG cars including my GT4.

@@seinsmeld13 How long have you had the GT4 and what's the over stable of the car garage looking? Don't imagine you're dailying the GT4. Decent amount of Porsche owners don't seem to want to rack up the miles on their cars at least from what I see on the forums.

@@grownsimba8120 I haven't had my GT4 too long. It will be my daily come spring. I have two other cars a 2018 TTS and my 2018 RS5. I don''t care about mileage on the GT4. I plan to keep that car and hand it down to one of my sons. Neither of my sons drive a standard so that may not occur.

@@seinsmeld13 What don't you like about the RS5? I know a smaller car is more tossable but the RS5 is more of a long touring car which gives you the speed, acceleration and more comfort.

Do you think the apr stage 2 is capable of 10’s on 93 octane , full weight ? Would love to see this pull with pump gas in the tank to see the difference !
@BaltimoreCaesar6 жыл бұрын
No stage 1's are running 10's full weight without any other mods unless they are running downhill. Most people are running low 11's. Add a downpipe and/or IC and you are looking at mid-high 10's.
@ARamzze6 жыл бұрын
Caesar I was talking about apr stage 2, not stage 1. There is a guy in Canada running stage2 unitronjc and he’s broken into the 10s on pump gas. I would think a APR stage 2 on 93 full weight with decent tires should be able to crack 10s. Just haven’t seen it yet.

This is why i sold my fortified S3 and went back to true driving into an STI. Yes it is slower, less refined. But you at least get the satisfaction of actually driving it. And on snow it is WAAAYYY more fun than the heavily front biased systems in the small audis.

None of those cars have AWD and a legendary group B 5 cylinder. Take off in this is consistent while the ones you listed will need to warm up tires and have perfect conditions.
@gjtt4 жыл бұрын
Agreed a bit too pricey new but 3500 lbs is pretty light for a sedan with a unique engine, awd, and good interior. The Audi can ~match the ZL1 0-60 even with the 10-speed, but definitely fades at higher speeds. Also just a reflash/turbo inlet pipe (Stage 1) gets you 480 hp and 480 lb-ft, perfect for the street. This car was actually my second choice when purchasing , the ZL1 was first. The front ends even look kinda similar. The new 2022 STi redesign with 400hp will be a nice lower priced option to this car.
