Hi, we have got this estate car. Absolutely gorgeous... we got it for a tow car. previous reviews made it tow car of the year. It’s useless feels like the car is on ice obviously since it was upgraded. Friends told us how amazing it was. Tried their cars... great.. we bought a newer model than theirs. Can’t believe how bad it is towing... nearly lost the caravan.. we have now traded it in for tourag after 8 months. Lost money but want to feel safe. I wouldn’t recommend this new version for towing.. though it has so much more going for it. Not suitable for us and in our opinion, 4x4 are so much better for towing. I won’t be sorry to see it go as I have never felt safe in it.

Why the hell Audi's touchscreen are better than physical buttons and knobs? Are you ok? Try to adjust your sensor while driving in turn at 100kph on uneven road .

Even with the digital display the interior still looks the same as 20 years ago....butt ugly :) They still have the nicest diesel engines imho. For the start stop function...in traffic jams you definitly need to turn it off. According to my average calculations on this system, you need to have the engine turned off for 7 seconds before you actually gain in consumption. (7seconds idling uses the same amount of fuel that is needed to start...again, based on average of different models and brands)

Sadly, the G30/G31 530D is no longer a six cylinder, it's a 4 cylinder with 260HP. Downsizing yet again :(

What? No man the 530d is still a 6 in line. The 530i is a 4 cylinder ;) i reviewed the nee facelifted model of this car a few days ago ur welcome to check it out

Yeah, only the petrol is a 4 pot, was test driving a 2019 530d touring yesterday, most definitely a 6, I also looked at, but didn't drive a 520d touring, the engine looks lost under the bonnet!

Review is, in 520d guise is a dog of a vehicle. Only one you get if you can afford it is a 540i xdrive. I have fully test driven the 530d and 540i. The 530d is cumbersome and drives like a huge fat whaler. The 540i xdrive on the other hand is actually really good. The difference between a 530d and 540i is huge, it really is massive. So that means the difference between the dog 520d wheezer engine and the 530d is like the difference between a 530d and 540i. Nice in one engine only, 540i, end of.
