Just when I thought my admiration of Jennifer had reached its peak, we learn that she spent her formative years in a genuine Ford Crown Victoria station wagon. No wonder she dispenses such super-sensible advice with ease and elegance in every episode she graces. When considering the virtues of Ford's last full-size wagons, the film "The Fabulous Baker Boys" would be a far more helpful resource than those execrable National Lampoon movies. #SaveTheWagon

For a while, I had my heart set on getting a lightly-used, off lease C300. Then I looked at the projected cost of ownership over five years and it was nearly twice that of a new "normal" car. With that, and reliability, that dream went out the window.

I'm with Jennifer! Bring back station wagons! A nice Toyota Corolla wagon or Honda Civic wagon like they had in the 90's (with safety features) would suit me fine! Chevy Chase killed the Country Squire station wagon in that National Lampoon movie with the dead Aunt strapped to a chair on the roof rack! Guess I'll buy a RAV4 or Forester in Fall 2019 (let them work more bugs out!) and be content!

In the case of the Corolla wagon, they don't have to bring it back they just have to bring it over from Europe. #SaveTheWagon

So glad to see Jenn, the best and most practical reviewer, she speaks clearly, enunciates, and maintain a consistent volume. Still miss Tom 💔💔💔. I would bring back the Datsun B210, one of the best car I ever owned, rear wheel drive, light weight, easy to maintain, and roomy for its' size. Haha 😆😀 LTD 1979 was my first new car, went on so many adventures took a beating, was comfortable. I ran it to the ground.

Also, as a 6 foot three individual, who has sat in most of those cars. Yes, you will fit in all of those. The first car that I bought with my own money was a 2000 Toyota echo, and even with a race helmet on, I still had plenty of space. (Side note, Toyota Echo makes a surprisingly good track car with a manual) For my money, the accord is the best bet, if a bit common. I'd also look at the scion xb. Me and my taller older brother can sit behind each other in that car. Cars to avoid, most gm cars. You'll often have plenty of head room, but rarely any knee room. When, me and my brother sat behind each other at a hummer at the auto show. Crunch! Knees destroyed.
@rightlanehog31515 жыл бұрын
We are the same height and, in my opinion, Toyota may be the most guilty of reducing headroom with each new iteration of their cars. #SaveHeadRoom

Im 18 and absolutely love cars. Since 16 I’ve owned a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (junk), 03 Yukon Denali, 04 Silverado 2500, and now I have a 92 f350 4 door 5 speed diesel and another 05 Yukon Denali XL which I love. They’ve all been cheap Craigslist purchases but tons of fun. If your in high school and looking for a first car I would recommend an 03-06 GM SUV (Yukon, Tahoe, suburban, Escalade) they’re cheap, reliable, powerful, and comfortable... forget the econoboxes with cloth seats and trash speakers that your parents recommend 😂

Great video, that's for the funny last moments........so true about unreliable cars and extended warranties....if you UNDERSTAND extended warranties contracts......DO GET and EXCLUSIONARY WARRANTY...... it's usually the most expensive because it covers EVERYTHING, except a list of items they provide you. I am in Love with my beautiful, sexy used 2014 Jaguar XJL with it's EXCLUSIONARY WARRANTY. At only six months of ownership, the one oxygen sensor failed. Really like this car, so im ok with it.

Baja and a new FJ Cruiser would be cool to see. Offroad SUVs are really popular, and the FJ Cruiser still has a huge following. Their prices nowadays show that there are very desirable. Offroad cars are as popular as ever, and the FJ Cruiser is like the offroad car. It has a design that makes it stand out from the crowd and retro designs are becoming popular. VW Made their class VW bus into an electric van with cool modern touches, so I think it's entirely plausible for Toyota to bring back the Cruiser with much fanfare. The Baja would be another cool truck to bring back. A 5-seater city truck would sell well, especially for Subaru, since it has been known to appeal to people with active lifestyles that live in the suburbs or city. Hyundai made the Santa Cruz, and Ford released the Maverick which have done well sales-wise. Subaru already has a bunch of SUVs, wagons, and sedans, but it's missing out on the crucial city or small truck market. If they released an updated Baja, I think it would do well. Especially if they give it 8.7 inches of ground clearance, rugged materials, and added an extra seat

Mike from Chicago with that Ridgeline guys. Sorry for not providing all the details. I work only three days a week and not far. Overall, I end up driving the Ridgeline maybe 6K miles per year also because we do have another vehicle so the mileage gets split between the two of them.

So in my opinion a car's name is the soul or the spirit of a vehicle. I don't think the new Supra, is really like the supras of old, for eg.. But if you look at the new blazer, for some reason or another it seems to capture the essence of the older Blazers. Hopefully car manufacturers understand that.... I Toyota felt the need to call a brand new cross over a Camry, and it was it sloping Coupe version of a crossover, it's lost the essence of whatever a Camry was.. But if they called the venza a rebadged Camry wagon, I can see how that could still be called a Camry

You guys realize that the Germans have come quite a ways in reliability, specifically Audi with the comment at the end. They've climbed the ranks of reliability in numerous industry surveys. Companies typically associated with reliability like Honda and Acura have been suffering. This can also vary significantly from model to model but generally the Germans have made significant strides in reliability.
