I so understand you! Someone suggested the bullet journal system instead of a regular planner..When I searched for it I was overwhelmed by all the creativity and time consuming lay outs. Beautiful but knowing myself it would totally distract me instead of helping me. Still there was something that kept me looking at all those "plan with me"-s. When I saw the minimalist layouts I began to see that it would be something for me after all. And with the printables, especialy the calenders (Thanks!!!) it saves me a lot of time and it gives me a beautiful journal after all! So I'm happy to know the system and use it like it was meant in the first place. And whenever I want to make it more beautiful or track more I can always add that later or use the beautiful printables!

I adore this set up. I have several goals I have to meet early this year and have been searching for the right word to keep me going. Of course I’ve been trying to hard to find the right word when “Focus” is the simplest and perfect word. Thank you for your videos. Sometimes I try to make things to complicated and need that simple reminder. Your videos always do that for me.

I've been really struggling the last month or so (6 weeks), and it's been such a task to just be peaceful and intentional. this video brought me so much peace that it actually made me teary eyed. You're not putting on a facade that everything is OK and you can do it all -- no one can, so why pretend?! It just feels like you're talking to me, even though I know you're talking to yourself. So thank you so much for this video

I started bullet journalling this year and as much fun as it was to doodle for the first 3 months, I was overwhelmed by it just before the fourth month started. I still wanted to doodle and make it look pretty but since I have to move into another journal for the rest of the year I take it as a chance to get a fresh start and focus on what's really important for me rather than have it look good. I hope this video will be helpful for me and that I might incorporate some of your ideas ^^

I have to say that almost every time you're telling the story about the Bunny and the Bear, I have tears in my eyes. I don't know why is that (other than that it's simply BEAUTIFUL and you have a perfect voice for telling touching stories like that), but there certainly aren't a lot of things that can make me cry and somehow that story is doing it all the time. I can't wait for your book! I love your new bullet journal and I wish you a wonderful year. (sorry for my poor English!)
@nopeg57306 жыл бұрын
Your English is wonderful! The only thing I would point out is that you mixed up two words... when telling someone something and you don't know why, it is (and I don't know why that is, or just I don't know why. Rather than "why is that". Hope this helps, and again, your English is wonderful and so close to flawless! 😃

I love your new setup. It is very pretty and clean. I so resonate with you on keeping it simple and more like what you (or you as in yourself) want. I like watching what other people do in their journals but to be honest, all those super creative painted bullet journals kinda gave me the feeling i was failing. I am a list girl. Basically i have a bullet journal to make a to do list for a week. I like the week instead of the day because it gives me freedom. I don’t have trackers. I don’t have a lot of other lists. Sometimes i draw on the monthly page. Sometimes i just write the name of the month and be done with it. My journal isn’t very pretty. It has a certain astatic in it’s simplicity. I am no were near as good an artist as you. But that fine. My journal helps me. It doesn’t need to be a work of art. Having the idea i have to make a monthly page or doodle pretty stuff around edges only makes me feel nervous. So i figured after a couple of months. Why am i doing this? My journal should help me. And now that i have stopped doing it and just have the very simple lay out. It does. And i am very happy for you that you found a new way to make your journal help you as well.

Christine, wow 😢💖 This is great timing and good quality content. I also just filmed mine today (although I'm so unsure about uploading yet) but seems like this year is a theme of white journal covers with off white pages! I manage to find a hidden gem in a cheap store I passed by, it also looked like yours except it had line grid pages. I also had the same problems of the grid not being the same for each page, sometimes cut too much on the left or skewed. The paper was also almost similar to cheap printer paper and I couldn't write on the same area twice with a brush marker because of bleed through. That said, my theme was semi-minimalism, to tolerate mistakes and imperfection more, and simplicity, so I was so shocked and found myself nodding too hard when you mentioned about "Failing with the intent to learn". *So if it's okay too, I'd like to quote you, because I've never had those words to fully express what I wanted to say. And this video was just perfect for it* I love how meaningful each piece in your bullet journal is and hope to strive and reach this level of wow-ness. I hope you have a great year ahead! 💗 -Noen P.S. Okay woah, I was looking for sticker paper like that semi-clear matte one you have? This video is really a blessing, I'm gonna cry in joy. Thank you so much for being Christine 😢💗

Your videos are the most calming and inspiring! I am starting a bullet journal this year and I hope to stick to it for a change. I actually ended up purchasing the same journal as you, except it is orange and is void of any dots or lines. I just finished decorating the cover last night, and I plan on tackling the inside spreads today. I love it, but it's a chaotic collage that's very different than your clean minimalistic style. Happy new year! I cannot wait to see how your journal grows throughout the year! ♥♥♥

Oh wow this is my first video of yours that I’ve seen and it was such a breath of fresh air. I stopped using a bullet journal because I found it overwhelming to keep up with and it caused my stress in my life than needed.
