Definitely better then the previous model and although Chevy stepped up the game, Ram did it even better. The interior of the GM products use too much plastic in my opinion.

The only thing that Chrysler has ever done half way decent is to get Cummins under contract to use those diesels in their trucks. Without Cummins they would be total shit instead of just a shit truck with a good engine.

I prefer the 6.2l chevy engine rather than the (still very good) 5.7l but I like the dodge limited much more overall. The Chevy is still a nice truck though

I like the new 2019 Ram 1500 much better than the competition. I just bought one a couple months ago and it is really comfortable on long road trips. The exterior and interior look better also.

Besides power train (6.2L/10 speed), there is literally nothing the new Chevy does better than the new Ram; not the exterior, certainly not the interior, not the technology, not the ride, not comfort, not aerodynamics/mpg, not even really the best features (which only offers a couple things the Ram doesn't, but the Ram still offers more that the Chevy doesn't). Yes, Chevy up'd their game a lot (and it was long overdue!), but they are still playing catch-up. IMO their new 2019 barely catches up to the 2015 Ford f150, but is still not as refined and as well developed as the Ram.

After driving all three last month I liked the sierra denali the best. 6.2 10 speed with magnetic ride control which the Silverado doesn't get and it was the quietest interior.

@@r2ba435 Fair enough. The Denali's have always been nice. And, those three things are all excellent. Unfortunately, I think you have also just about exhausted the list of what is exceptional on a GM truck today (or only on the Denali in the case of magnetic shocks). I am not saying it isn't a great truck (they all are really today), just saying that is about all the stands out about it. For me, I think the new Rams offer so much more for the same money. Hell even the Ford offers unique features/benefits (turbo'd V6's/mpg/lighter; innovative driver assists; etc). GM just seems to still be touching up the same truck they sold 15 years ago for the most part (new 6.2L/10 speed aside). And, it is still a great truck...that has been updated with the modern stuff. But there is little new, exciting, or unique.

My $52,000 was the only brand new vehicle I've owned & I've owned several,that had rust the size of a silver dollar on the fender before the break in oil was out of it. The sunroof was metal on metal. I could see my driveway threw the bottom of the bed even though it also had the spray in factory liner (can't do that with my ultra badass raptor which you probably can't afford). The stupid ram had a pos rotary shifter attached to an 8sp trans that slipped & a freaking hemi that knocked. The pretty blacked out projector headlights liked to hold condensation along with the fog lights & the stray that broke my back & sent me flying back to Ford was when my never even sat in rear passenger compartment got flooded my an improperly installed cargo light gasket & all fca wanted to do was air it out. You can talk all the smack you want about my flawless raptor,but you'll be the dumbass eating popcorn in the waiting room at the dodge dealer while that truck is being repaired all the time & your wishing you hadn't be so drawn in by the chrome plated turd of a truck. I've been there. I traded in a perfect powerstroke for that pos ram & now I'm back in another perfect Ford truck. Mine hasn't seen the dealer once for a repair not once.

I don't remember if the 2019 RAM 1500 Limited you previously tested had the air suspension. My 2019 RAM 1500 Limited has the 5.7 Liter Etorque Hemi, air suspension, panoramic roof, rear locker, and just about every option except the RAM boxes. The sticker was $67,000. I can't believe the Chevy has a nicer ride quality.

The Raptor is definitely better looking but I cannot get past that exhaust note. People say “oh you just need to get *insert brand* cat back exhaust and it sounds good” no...no, it doesn’t. It sounds like a fart going down the road. For the money they ask for it, there should be at least one V8 option.

If anyone can isolate the interior of a vehicle it's GM.. I've had a Cruze and now a Malibu and they're both vault silent when compared to their competition. The crap continental tires GM puts on their cars doesn't help but still pretty impressive, triple sealed doors and thicker glass paired with active noise cancellation will do that! I'm likely going to buy one of these new Silverado's and I have no doubt it'll be as quiet as a Cadillac/Buick on the inside !

They want everyone to know where that vehicle was sold at of course and anyone who say's I hate when dealerships slap their decals on the cars is clearly not using the brain God gave them. Now, you can of course request the decal or sticker to be removed and all dealers comply with your wishes. not that hard people
