I've bought two of these.First one I thought it was defected,my hood would not close..I bought another & I have the same issue? I went by truck model and all.ive done a few of these before

It says to put the bumpers on 4 spots but only think there would be enough flexibility on the side above the headlights. Where did you put them?

I spaced them evenly across the hood

I have a suggestion, if you’re going to go through all the trouble showing how to install the thing could you atleast show the front end of the truck when you’re done so we can see what it looks like?? I mean wtf just seems like common sense

hi, for dummies like me. Which end does the well nut go into the hood?

Hi Ali, the flange (larger end) rests on the metal of the hood, so the smaller end goes in first.

Dis you remove the rubber trim from the hood or did you leave it on?

I left it one, On my truck a classic 1500, I had plenty of room. Your situation may be different.

Did you have to drill these holes or are you using preexisting holes

For anyone else who watches this, use some plumbers putty or anything similar to hold the nut from falling.
