You do realize that you were using only URBAN mode for the entire test ride and that this mode gives you just around 75 hp? Only in TOURING and SPORT mode you get the full 113 hp. Going from URBAN to SPORT mode transforms the bike dramatically and really brings it to life.

Søren Johansen thanks for this, I am aware that sport delivers more, I did not realise that the difference was that big! Thanks for sharing, great feedback. I was pushed for time and stuck in peak traffic so I did not get the opportunity to really open throttle. Cheers for that.

Great review. Really like the rough road test you give the bikes . This is great information and something few of the other reviewers cover as well as you do.

Don't you think it's better to compare the Multistrada 950s VS. BMW F900XR than F850GS?
@0to100Adventure4 жыл бұрын
CoMMenDaToR yes, fair enough and I would have if I had ridden the F900XR to as point of reference. To date I have only ridden the 850. I do want to try it soon. Thanks and keep safe.

@@0to100Adventure Curious as to your thoughts on the Duc in comparison to the Versys 1000. I am leaning towards the Versys for reliability but would like your take given that you have reviewed both.
@0to100Adventure4 жыл бұрын
Sean Shea Honestly IMO, comparing the 2 bikes I would say that the Versys 1000 had the upper hand as far as build quality and reliability. You need to have a closer look at both bikes for yourself. Cheers

i am just waiting on my test ride.. i do love the look of BMW GS1250. (But after test ride = i didn't want one..) I hope this model doesn't disappoint me. (buying in 2021 as 2020 is now cancelled.)

This bike seems to be in another league from everything else offered. King of its segment by far.

It has the Triumph Tiger 900GT and BMW F900 XR as main competitors. All these three bikes are amazing and comes packed with useful feature. Just need someone to do a 2020 in-depth review and test between the three bikes.

One question - this Multi 950S vs Ktm super adv 1290? For weekend ridings, And occasional longer solo trips. Which one gives more enjoyable ride?
@0to100Adventure4 жыл бұрын
I am not going to be much help, both are capable and enjoyable, it will depend on rider preference. IMO...I like the bigger displacement for touring...longer trips, the Ducati is more fun than the KTM though, this is of course subjective and you should really try them both out of size :-)
@danielwro14 жыл бұрын
@@0to100Adventure Im rather tall (188) And 950 with higher seat gives me the min acceptable space for legs, hands, etc.. while super adv is diff story, is huge, And I feel quite small on it. But still this aspect does not judge where to go. Quality in ktm is bit poor (platics, switches, etc).. Multi is like an iPhone, top model with perfect finish. I rather feel Multi ridings are more smooth, lighter, easier.. The only doubt is potential lack of power.
@0to100Adventure4 жыл бұрын
Yes, these are my thoughts exactly and I agree with your points, good summary. You have always got the option to opt for the Ducati mutistrada 1260 which is incredible and the KTM does not even come close! :-)

@@0to100Adventure too pricey, and ... unexpectedly too small, I really feel it so much, unpleasant knee angle and the seat crushes my balls ;)

Do you really think bmw 850 is close to perfection? I doubt...very heavy for 850 cc , expensive considering it is made in a shithole China , good review on that multi , I like it .
@0to100Adventure4 жыл бұрын
it is important to understand where I am coming from. I was not impressed with the previous version, the BMW F800GSA. IMHO There is a big difference and improvement in the latest model. Of course this is my POV and subjective but I was pleasantly surprised overall. I hope this helps, thanks for watching and your feedback. Stay safe!
