A few corrections: 1) The engine produces 124 N*m of torque (91.5 lb*ft). 2)Also, your 1/4 mile time is way off. MCN ran a 10.08@156 mph, far from the 133 mph trap speed you state. 3) The top speed is around 191 mph, not 165 mph. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed your review I thought you did a great job and it was very informative , I would just ask that you are more careful with the accuracy of your statistics next time.

I ride my 1299 S in city traffic, 25-30 MPH no problem. sorry you were not able to get it on the freeway. THIS is where the Panigale shines. You were short shifting ( NOT criticizing ) I would not abuse some one else's bike either. Shifting at or close too red line, hang on tight ! WILD !!! Thank god for wheelie control lol.. Ride safe

It will do 196 mph in 6th but the dash will only register to 186 mph after that it displays - - - The quarter mile numbers I have seen is 10.02 at 153mph. Last gen 1299 had a 0-60mph in 2.4 sec. I have yet to see any official listing for the V4’s 0-60. Also it’s 436lbs.

I rode on that bike (V4S) few months ago, belive me it could scary you enough to shit in your pants immediatly over 260+ kph...Panigale 1299 is defeinitly more savage and unpredictable...always you feel like riding on charging bull in rodeo contest...not any moments of weakness :)

Unfortunately a lot of bikes don't. I just reset one of the trip ODO every fill up. A gas light should come on when it gets to around 15miles left.
