What should have been a 15 minute job turned into an hour plus job on a 2020 HD heritage classic. The holes wouldn't line up. FYI-All fasteners were only hand tightened until they are all set. First, I installed the top nut and bolt. Then I installed one torx bolt and that went fine then the other torx bolt side wouldn't line up. I'm shaking, pulling, pushing and to no avail the torx bolt wouldn't line up. Then, I undid the top nut and bolt and installed the two lower torx fasteners and the top nut and bolt wouldn't line up by about 1/8". Finally I got the bolt through the hole and that's because I muscled the crap out of it. I had to lift up the bar and insert the bolt where it only sat half in the hole. I lightly tapped the bolt with a hammer and it lifted 1/8" & the bolt went through. What BS!!..why doesn't HD make the holes a little larger especially the top nut and bolt (which is a pain in the butt in itself because its installed in a very tight space). I'm not the only one complaining about the fitting and HD is well aware of complaints and have lots of product returns. I was real close to returning the item but, In the end, its installed and it looks great.

Looking to install on my heritage, you remember what size torx it takes for bottom 2 bolts/screws? I don't own any torx sockets so I need to get a socket. Thanks

How are the foot rest on the bar? I mean do you actually use them and any comfort? I'm looking at this bar but probably would add another set of highway prgs. Just curious about your opinion?

They were useless and eventually fell off. They were stuck on with adhesive. I do like the shape of the mustache bar though.

How easy/difficult was it to get the nut in position and get the bolt engaged on the top fastening ? Not a lot of room to get your hand in ?

Ya it was a bit challenging to get it finger started from the back

No, just for the bottom. The top middle is a nut and bolt.

Why did you get the aftermarket horn, and which one is it? Is it louder? I have found the Stebel Nautilus Horn to be very loud. 139 Decibels.

Nick Garten I tried one but my highway bars got in its way so I ordered the loud horn from Harley. It is identical to the stock but twice as loud.

@@racconsrazor9080 do you mind listing which horn specifically you went with? The harley website has on listed but it says it's 3db louder which doesn't make me confident that it's the right one. I have mustache bars on already so it's a tight fit and the wolo bad boy doesn't look like it's going to fit.

Jason Stanley , it’s not that louder. I only went with it as a temp until I find a better solution. It is better then stock
