Just seems that the mechanics fail. Taunie has great strength and stamina. The chair is at fault. It doesn’t even lock itself. Chair should be voice activated. It should offer Taunie a ride up. She could roll onto a conveyor belt. It should be a steam shovel scoop. A vending machine at the mall is more intuitive…the overhead claw is activated to pick up a stuffed toy. A slant board drop-down , lifts up two feet, allowing for her to skootch before it retracts. Help is on the way. Genetic engineering, Taunie will walk and run.

Taunie dear what a Great strong effort you have. It will happen infact i know ppl will give you insight in doing it easier for you. I see you have strong arms what if the man there was able to install a bar rail mounted to the wall just over the wheelchair like. L shape then use rope cable handles in weightlifter use to pull your body up into chair seat this could be easier.

Good job. . That's like trying to rock-climb with just your hands. So hardest part is spinning yourself around? I'd say like a transfer from the side would be good exercise like off of a footstool. . Keeping your legs turned out?

I almost done a transfer but from the floor . Takes alot of strength on one arm though. But pretty much if I can't push my butt that high it's not working

TheOklahomabourne actually the hardest part is pulling myself up to get to where I can pull myself up and turn and I can’t sit on the footplate the whole chair likes to tip forward on me just when I try to get back in it and a transfer from the side makes no sense I can’t change up the way I’ve always done it then I’d be starting from sweetheart scratch some and I won’t do thank t sorry I know your just trying to help but it’s just not going to work that way sorry but thanks for your suggestions much appreciated

Maybe that's why I've never suggested anything. It's frustrating i fell over backwards twice when i woke up this morning. The way i was weged i had no good way to get myself up. Didn't mean to make you feel i was trying to suggest new things because I'm not sure what works best for me . especially for you being more limitied with thing's I really know nothing about

dreamgirls yes it is C7 incomplete but the hospital I stayed at didn’t teach me how to do this (get back in my chair ) in case I fall I live on my own that was a friend helping me but I have to be able to get back in my chair in case I fall cuz I live on my own
