So many are complaining about this truck being a V6. Is 450 HP and 510 Ft lbs of torque really not enough? Last time I checked, these are not common numbers off an assembly line…this straight out of the factory engine is FASTER than many of the V-8s on the road. Then you have the “exhaust complainers”…who are too adamant about having loud/deep exhaust noise coming out of their rear…I suspect they have other insecurities and need a loud exhaust to make up for their lack of testosterone. Many can copy, but can’t match the frame structure, off-road options and durability of the Raptor. Hands down, best truck on the planet.

Getting those kind of numbers out of a V6 means reliability is much worse than an oldschool naturally aspirated V8 cause they need to stick all kinds of tech like turbos in there that has a chance to fail on you.

Another great review Sofyan and I test drove this truck recently and I have to say I love the feeling you get behide the wheel you feel so safe you feel like you could go though anything. I used to own a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and currently own a 2006 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate and they both feel great in there own way driving them. But nothing compared to this Raptor you feel like the king of the road like you said and that ecoboost V6 actually doesn't sound too bad and your right it is a very fast truck lol.

I had a 2015 Raptor with a stage 2 Roush conversion. 560 hp that you couldn't put down because the damned traction control cut power NON STOP. Now I have a 2019 and even at 450 hp stock it's far superior to the first gen. I totally recommend a second gen Raptor

I just bought a brand new 2019 super cab base 800a for $50,795. Sure it doesn't have leather or any of the fancy electronics like this truck does, it is however still a raptor and I still get the HO ecoboost and all the drive modes as well as the LiveActive Fox shocks. I think the truck comes fairly well equipped for a "base" truck. Oh and I still get the sync 3 radio. I just think spending $75k on a truck is ridiculous.

Everything about the 2017 Ford Raptor exterior reminds me of "The Rock, Arnold from Terminator 2, with a hint of Bruce Lee, as far as speed". By far in my opinion the Raptor is the Most Masculine looking Truck out there straight from the factory. Unfortunately most of Fords interior across the board excluding the "Navigator" has a office feel a more conservative look. I can live with that though, price tag steep but in my opinion well worth it. If I could afford one I would have one. Great Video!!! I love your content!!!

That's why I own a 2017 Chevy z71 Instead of a 2014 Raptor the value of a used Raptor is amazing. Just goes to show how sought after they are. On top of that there's not that many used ones too chose from. Ford producing limited amounts or owners love them too much to let go.

Please do not pay over MSRP for these trucks! I’m in Cali and I custom ordered mine at MSRP. It’s not easy to do in Cali but it’s possible. If you are in other states, you can get these lower than MSRP. I highly recommend this truck. My wife loves it as her daily. Cons: -parking can be can issue because of how wide it is -interior is not as nice as you would expect on a high end truck but it’s a Ford so I am not surprised -mpg is pretty bad Pros- -people commend you everywhere you go. People stop and compliment you and check the truck out. People just fuckin love it. -it’s fast. I just beat a Honda Civic si. - suspension is amazing. Cool factor is a 12 on a 1-10 scale, and the same goes for its off-road capabilities. BUT it’s a huge step down in towing/hauling, on-road etc. but that’s just the nature of the beast with off-road specific vehicles. I literally just priced one these last week and found it was waaayyyy to expensive for a vehicle that I’m going to off-road, that truck makes a fully optioned crew cab Lariat 150 look like bargain basement pricing lol and just shy of a loaded King Ranch.

I have a 2018 Raptor. This was a good and fair review. I tend to agree on the 10 Speed Transmission. I am curious what the new RAM TRX will be like. Hellcat Super Charged V8.... Will the Quality be there from RAM. They aren't known for the best quality but hopefully that is changing. I also wonder what Ford will do in the future now that they have a huge investment in Rivian. An all electric high output 4 motors at the wheels truck would be very interesting to me. Just think of the off road capability of that.

I’m wondering what you think it should cost? 30 k maybe like an accord. Any nice truck is knocking on 50 k now. The truck does not share many parts on the body with a reg F-150. The base raptor is in the 50 k range. Go drive a new Toyota truck that is 50 k and you will see how far these American trucks have come.

So ive watched many ford raptor reviews because i hope to own one, one day and honestly i feel like none of them go into as much detail as you do for instance i did now know that ford used hard touch plastic material on the dash and doors which is honestly pretty disappointing considering the price range added on with all those optional upgrades , its such a fucking nice truck and expensive one at that they should at least give the consumers what they pay for and not be all cheap with it but hey maybe they feel like theyre already giving alot who knows lol but thank you for this review and as always keep it up!

People talk crap and don’t do any research. That truck will run to 250 k no promblem. Just traded a 2015 sho in with same basic motor with 150 k and it was still like new. And we are not alone mouth man.
