I got 2018 1448 Tracker Grizzly with 2019 Mercury 25 hp Short Shaft with Stainless prop 11 pitch which I might drop it to a 10 pitch.. Runs fine with one person. If you have two one person must sit toward the front. Trolling motor 12V 48lb minn Kota which works fine in the Louisiana bayous. Easy to handle which is what I love about it and very stable for a 14ft boat. Only dislike is my paint peeled on the back and cap has bubbles. Besides the paint issues the boat has been a pretty good little boat.

Attach the kill cord to your leg, its there for safety, if it's attached to your leg it will cut the engine if you go overboard and stop it running you down.

Not before you pass through the prop, moving with perpetual motion while still in gear. Still better than under power, but not gonna prevent all injuries. So just be safe and go slow. You will see more and be alive without injuries to tell your pals when you brag about your boat.

@vikingsmb run away crafts are very dangerous. Always wear the kill leash as in US it is law. And furthermore, it helps more than it hurts. But you wont escape injury if wearing and unaware while operating. The prop is moving and forward motion will carry the blades clean through bare skin if the two should meet. Cheers fella. Be safe.

You could attach a small line to the kill switch at the end of your session and pull it when you are done after you crank it up on the trailer. Might avoid a slip if your feet are wet trying to get back in the boat. Thanks for sharing the video.

I was looking for a comment on this. Huge safety issues. I like the creators boat and his mod ideas etc. I do not like the HUGE and SIMPLE safety issues that are being “taught” or “advertised” here.
