Hey, for a lean rig to cover miles, you cannot beat that.

Nice boat, awesome motor. Thats the same speed i get with a 500lb 16ft Deep V and new 25 Mercury, the 11p is matched perfect for it. Yours is lighter, and Suzuki's are suppose to rev a little higher/more top speed so Im sure u could hit almost 30mph with a 12p prop.

Thanks for the info, I have a 13p prop now to test… haven’t had time to get out to test yet. I will post a video once I do

Looks like you can get faster by trimming up a light more.

I have a higher pitch prop now 👍

How does it compare to the old Yamaha 30 with regard to top speed? I just tried my new DF25A on my a Zodiac. Same prop as you, topped out at 26 mph and 5600 rpm. It would be interesting to hear the results with the 13" prop you mentioned. The DF25A is a very nice motor but I'm not impressed with the performance of mine so far. It performs just like the DF20A.
@subcoolboats753 ай бұрын
The DF25A as tested is slower by a couple mph, as soon as I get free I will be testing the 10-1/4 x 13 prop. Considering its a heavier motor I am pleased, the time to plane is excellent for me. Hopefully this week I’ll get out there. Thanks for your comment 👍

I wonder if their a limit fir dingily at 25- and struggle for 26.I've seen about 6 boat all peak out their, and and the smaller one peak at 10-11 mph.but the Suzuki so quiet, more nosy than the Yamaha

what do you think the stainless propeller is better? I will have a 5.5m (roughly 18ft) long Jon Boat. Same with the outboard motor as yours. What propeller would you recommend? thanks🙂
@subcoolboats753 ай бұрын
I don’t usually run stainless props on these smaller motors, I think the 10-1/4 x 11 would perform well on an 18ft. Im going to be trying a 10-1/4 x 13 soon and will post a video.. stay tuned

The current is going away from the boat??? I don't have a clue what that statement is supposed to mean or how it would even be possible for the currant to be going away from the boat unless you are sitting over a dam discharge port. your sound is horrible.

There are gates and pump stations that move water through the Everglades. Hopefully that helps you understand. Thanks for watching
