can you point to a one solid enough protoss? i can only think of Stats, but he needs to be more aggressive and be better at it. Serral, Rogue and Maru are all players who are great offensively and deffensively, have great understanging of the game and mix up their styles, their winnings are well deserved. while just half a year ago 60% of all players after ro32 were protoss. Patience, Hurricane, Parting, all those players went deeper into tournaments than players better than them, like TY.

Number of tournaments won one after another for an extended period of time is not my opinion, but a fact. I dont know exactly why Maru doesnt win blizzcon, players have their favorite tournaments setups, maybe this one is not his best. Again, point me one protoss player at Serrals level, or Marus level. As i said, Stats is great, but he himself admited his game is trash recently. Also games played today by trap were trash, next to no harass, constant nydus blunder, horribly passive.

as a random main, I agree. Once you hit Brood-Infestor as Zerg it's too easy to win. Yes, you have to play a little conservatively but they can never beat you because there's really no good counter to Neural for any race. With the nerfs to Protoss, Zerg is now the strongest race, especially with cheap Nydus & infestors.

Rogue is (imho) a better player than Trap, but watching every Zv(T or P) once Z has broods + neural it's game over for the other player. I even saw a match where a Z player (I think it was Solar) went without mining for 10 min but because he had Brood + Neural the other player STILL lost. That means Brood + Neural = broken and needs to be fixed, and we really need a better way to balance nydus' as well.

If Blizzard doesn't nerf Zerg before blizzcon. It will in all likelihood be won by Zerg. Out of 24 main wcs points from 2018 to 2019; zerg has won 15 events (from 5 different players), protoss 5 (from 3 different players) and Terran 4 (only from maru). Games against zerg are so zerg favoured that it feels almost pointless supporting the protoss or Terran.

It costs Protoss money and time to create interceptors and only one interceptor can be created at a time per carrier. It only costs time for Zerg to make locusts, infested Terrans and broodlings from brood lords. Infested Terrans are the only ones that cost energy, but can be created rapid fire. Interceptors do last forever but are killed easily, and cannot be created cheaply en masse. Late game, low economy interceptors are impossible. Late game zerg is forever.

rogue saw dark win the gsl and went super saiyan. I have been watching gsl about two years now and everytime they fight which is not often dark gets destroyed. He got ripped by serral in the past and even recently by elazer. Rogue is the best zerg in korea by a mile and always has been, he just had to get hyped and motivated.

There are 2 overpowered/underpriced unit exploits Rogue is using here #1. Nydus Worms are way too cheap and allow instant teleport of all zerg units to anywhere visible on the map for 50/50 resources. #2. Queens are the most powerful early game units available as they can permaheal once you reach a critical number, can hit ground and air units, and have a range greater than most army units costing only 150 minerals. So early Nydus with Mass Queens followed by smaller support units = win every time. Rogue could have used the exact same strategy as the first two games, for all 4 games and the outcome would have been the same. It's plain to see Zerg are the most Overpowered race of 2019 as they've won every tournament so far. They have the strongest early and late game units available. If you allow Zerg to tech to winfestors/vipers/broodlords the game is over. You can build as many carriers as you like, vipers will abduct them and winfestors will take control of all your tier 3 units turning the fight from a 200 vs 200 into a 300 vs 100 supply engagement.

The fact is that the protoss player has to constantly take risk to try and close the game early so it doesn't get to the late game...this makes it hard. The zerg player can just cruise along and not have to worry about ending the game early bc he has an advantage late game. There's never any pressure on the zerg to make risky plays. He just needs to defend and then can dominate his opponent in the late game.

Zerg OP cries in the comment section are ridicolous. Zerg was always meant to be the reactive race that has to defend, while T and P have to harrass/attack it to keep it from growing too quickly. It's far from unbeatable. There are soooo many nasty builds you can do to a Zerg while in buildup and mess them up, killing them outright or hitting a strong lategame push first. I see quite a bit of laziness in Protoss pros these days to make full use of their repertoire. Instead they seem to just keep playing out the stale PvZ meta, which Zergs have "figured" out as the defenders. P (and T) need to bring some innovations to the PvZ and TvZ matchups. What I would still welcome is giving Zerg more options in the lategame: Nerf Infestors, buff Roach/Hydra and Ultras with some new Hive-Tech upgrade. ~fellow Protoss

Nydus needs a cost increase, time increase, and worms need a health decrease; maybe like only a few hits to kill it when they are emerging. Its just too hard to punish a nydus; and it's frustrating to play against it even in ZvZ. A lot of the time players will see the Nydus but simply because the worms are so damn tanky you literally can't stop it in time. That being said; 99% of people whining in chat against Zerg don't give Rogue enough credit for how hard it actually is to play this style. One mistake with infestors and they all die; and outside of the like .01% top of players this game is very well balanced. Keep in mind Rogue completely stomped the #1 Korean Zerg on the way up to this point as well, people just like to whine.

아이러면 블컨우승은 세럴이다 오늘 여러가지로 조성주 답지가않았다 그만큼 테란전 극강 최강사기 조성호라 근데 성호 예전에 견제못하는 토스였는데 뻔하지않게 오늘 완벽의끝 프사기 판짜기를 보여주었는데 솔직히 토스로 매번 테란처럼 견제하기가 쉽지가않은데 성주가 갓성주 모드전혀 아니였고 보통성주 모습이기는 했어도 와5경기 토나오내 의료선들어올거 다파악하내 대규모귀환 되지도않고 소수전략 소환만되는데 추적자 점멸로 의료선 들어오는거 다보고 9멀티뭐냐 9멀티를 스타2에서 테란상대로 토스가 절대못하는데 와 계속200 테란이 사실상 조합이기려면 다른거필요없지 전순2줄쌓이고 바이킹섞어도 되고 토르 섞어도 되고 아니면 깔끔하게 올전순 때려버리면 토스가 그어떤조합을 갖추어도 지금 매타로 테란절대못이기는데 토스가 저그 무감타가면 절대못이기듯이 그런데 조성주4멀티 할동안 자기혼자 9멀티 먹는데 천하의 조성주도 뭘먹어야 조합을갖추지 근데그와중에 20분버틴 킹성주도 다른테란이면 불가능한걸 한끗차로졌내 만약에 견제안받고 6멀티 12가스만 돌아갔어도 전순 바이킹 쌓여서 역전나오는데 근데 조성주 결정적실수 저그전은 궤도사령부가 맞지만 토스전은 행요로 버텨야하는데 폼진짜 4연속 우승할때 그폼이 아니내 지고있을때 한번 나갈만 했는데 안나간것도 그렇고 아무튼 킹성호 조성주한테 4대0으로 진거 천하의 현존최강 갓성주를 무려 4대1로 찍어누르다니 완전히 돌았내 프사기의끝이였다 지상으로 테란이 분열기 거식 추적자 집정과 광전사 추적자 조합 유령껴도 못이기는데 이거 이기는건 전순바이킹 스카이조합인데 토스너프된 마당에 진짜 킹성호가 조성주 현존최강 테란마져 완벽하게 물리쳤는데 테란전만큼은 프사기끝 젤나가다 테란이 모든조합갖추면 우주쓰레기 공허쓰레기 쓰레기된마당에 스카이가도 토스가 그냥쓰레기로 처발리는거알고 테란못머게하고 지상회전력으로 완벽하게 물량으로 찍어눌렀내 대단하다 그것도 킹성주를 상대로 그래도2연준같다 해외모든대회 그리고 2년전 블리즈컨 황제 갓병렬이 우승경험있고 무감타 군단숙주 절대 토스가 못이기는데 이렇게잘해도 성호는 준우승할것같다 킹병렬 성주면 솔직히 반반이라 몰랐는데 예상대로 성호가올라와서 킹병렬이 드디어 그슬도 우승하고 국내현존 최강이될것같다 그러면 킹병렬도 제4종족이라 볼수있겠고 레이너와 더불어 아니그이상 유일하게 현존최강 갓세럴 잡을수도 있겠다 오늘 킹성주는 절대 블컨우승못한다 성호나 대엽이한테 질것같다 역시 이러면 갓세럴 공중제비 천국이지 블컬 우승은 2연속 갓세럴 블컨이후도 무감타 저사기 시대초장담한다 테란드럽게약하내 군심때 전순 밤까 바이킹모이며 다이겼던 테사기그립다 이신형이 한지원잡고 우승할때 그때기 그립내 테란겁나 약하내 저그하고 토스만 해야겠고 둘이 사기내 나한테 욕박은놈들 단정지을만 했는데 와 진짜 이럴거면 성주가 올라갔어야 했는데 조성호 대처가 너무 애매했다 차라리 우모3줄모을거면 케논짖고 저그 가스 마를때까지 버텨야하는데 테란전같은 기동성이 될거라고 포자촉수 무리군주 여왕이 버티고있는데 너무나도 엄청난 판단 미스였다 나같으면 저렇게 안했다 실제로 캐리어3줄 쌓이면 염충이 붙지도 못하고 요격기한테 가루가되는데 캐리어한줄 가지고 무감타로 할수있는건 개뚜드려 맞는일이지 진짜 너무나도 허접한 대처였고 이병렬이 세럴 이상급으로 토스전에서 무감타 신개념을 보여주었는데 역시 킹병렬 대후반가면 저그를 젤나가로 만들어버리는 엄청난 능력 대단하다 역대급 최악의 대떡 결승전이였지만 이영호 장윤철 대참사가 생각났는데 스타1 진짜 무감타 대참사 너무 쓰레기 게임이라고 생각했다 병렬이 우승 축하하지만 이러면 남은 블리즈컨도 병렬이 스타일로는 세럴 레이너 저저전 절대못이기는데 저저는 무감타 따위는 필요없다 그냥 히드라 가시지옥 살모사가 최강이라 이조합 제일 잘갖추는게 세럴 레이너임 지금 블컨상황 완전 저그판 될거같은데 조성주가 과연3년연속 블컨 토스한테 광탈할지 2년전 김대엽 1년전 김유진한테 광탈했는데 성주가 저그랑만 만나면 애기는 달라질수없는데 블리자드가 조성주 토스랑 결승전까지 세럴하고 안붙는 대진 그려준다면 할수있을것 같은데 실제로 무감타완벽하게 깬게 조성주 유령 해방선 바이킹 소수전순 화염차 조합인데 터렛300개박고 전술핵쓰고 제발 성주가답이다 조성주또 광탈하고 세럴2연패면 이게임은 어자피 메이저 해외 월챔 WCG 중국포함 9번 우승한 성주가 어자피 최다우승자로 비록가장큰 블컨 저그 최다우승이라도 상관없다고본다 가장최고의 대회는 GSL4번 우승한 조성주니깐 그냥 세럴 우승시키고 끝내라 개쓰레기 무감타 크래프트 끝낼때가왔다

I am just one person, but this is how I feel. I played SC2 since it came out. I stopped playing because I'm too old to spend time on it, but kept watching throughout the years, mostly the Korean scene. I stopped watching this year and went back to watching WC3 (another of my oldies). Part of it is sOs' performance (my favorite player), who got punked a lot this year, but the other part is how uninteresting* the games are. I came back for the semi's and the finals of GSL, and after watching this, I have to say, I'm ready to skip watching SC2 for another year. * It's like in Hollywood: you can have a movie full of action that still bores the hell out of you.

If you're willing to give them a go, try great quarter finals like Maru vs ragnarok (this gsl) tvz Serral vs soo (iem katowice) zvz Classic vs rogue (season 1, controversial?) pvz But beyond these there's also Gumiho vs reynor (iem katowice) tvz Stats vs maru (supertournament) pvt And many serral vs terran matches.
