Thanks a lot for your diy videos, wondering if I change the front turn signal light bulbs with a built in Led + resister/can bus & the rear's without a canbus, would it not trigger hyper flash? I have a 2019 Odyssey EX-L; in your other video replacing front turn signal you made a comment that only in Touring & Elite you anticipate hyper flashing. Any suggestion on whether EX-L would require canbus/resister at all would be helpful. Thanks.

I bought the same brand of bulbs and they don't fit.the sockets are way to big to hold bulbs.they fall right out.did you modify socket ?

Hello and 5gabj for all the info. In the video you show a pack with a set if 4 builds. But the link is a set if 2 ligth builds. Do you have the link that u used that comes with the set if 4 ?

That's correct, I only have load resistors installed on the front, and no hyperflashing.

I have a 2018 odyssey ex and got all the same bulbs you recommended for this mod. I did the front mod and used a load resister to eliminate hyper flash, however I installed the rears without a load resister and now I have hyper flash.

Hello and very good and informative videos love all of the Odyssey series. But I have a doubt, I saw that you installed a Red led on the back of your 2018 Odyssey but also installed white led on the backlight of you 2008 Odyssey ! Which color will you said look better on the back of the Odyssey the Red LED or the White LED? Thank you for time

The white LED is brighter but behind the red lens, it's a lighter red color. The red LED is not as bright but behind the red lens is pure red.

It's most likely held in by nuts from behind the plastic panel. So you'll need to remove all the plastic panels on the hatch.

dial2fast yes I removed it, but I’m thinking I have to figure out how to lose the pins for the chrome plate that goes in the right to left tail light inner

Hey I got pull over last night because the left rear taillight was not working, I've changed all the light's and it still not working. I can't seem to find the taillight fuse location on my 2019 Honda Odyssey, I downloaded the owners manual and can't find it. Would you know the location of the taillight fuses.

If I install load resistors on the rear turn signals, instead of the front ones as you did, will I be able to run front and rear led turn signals without also needing load resistors on the front signals? So it would be set up similar to yours, but with the location of the load resistors moved to the rear. This is for a 2020 Odyssey EX-L. Thanks!

I can only guesstimate that it should work with the load resistors installed on the rear because both front and rear turn signals use the same flasher relay. But you will have to try to find out.

I see alot of cars with led brake lights and they strobe when brakes are pressed. will that happen to these?

No issue with strobing or flicker on these lights.

Hi there, if i want yellow rear turn. signal do i get amber verion instead or it doesnt. matter since the cover shell is red anyway, also do i need load resister for these? I decided to skip the mod for the front. Thanks!!

The red lens will block the yellow light. Get either white or red for the rear.

Did you do this before or after your front line conversion with the load resistor? Wondering whether doing just this mod without the front will result in the fast blinking when in engine stop mode like you had.

This is done after the fronts were installed. So doing only the rear most likely will require load resisters as most flasher relays are tied to front and rear.

Load resistor or an electronic flasher to control the flash rate regardless of load. I used the electronic flasher and prefer that to the resistor as it is easier to install and causes less stress on the electronics.

Nice vid but the incandescents honestly look brighter and they fill the housing fully. Beam pattern matters much more than raw lumens in automotive lighting.

Yeah, fully agreed. Incandescent being the best one I am wondering what to do with this 21w /5w bulb. In market no 25w /8w approx. is available but I think slight upgrade to this for ex: 25 or 35 watt twin filament bike bulb (with DIY ofcourse ) can do better. So far just my thought. Have not seen anyone trying.

Once you install the load resistor on each side (assuming you install it on the front), the rear will not hyper flash.
