Today I take a look at a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Limited--this is a very compelling package especially when you take the price point into consideration. A pretty comfortable ride with pretty much all of the technological amenities one would desire in a budget friendly vehicle. Aesthetically pleasing both on the outside and inside, faux leather all-around, panoramic sunroof, back-up camera, responsive touch-screen infotainment center, et al. Come along for the ride with me and see what this Sonata is all about!

It's a great everyday car with features (depending on trim level) that anyone would appreciate it! Enjoy it in good health :)

while I know this isn't any of my business please have your brother wear his seatbelt. No matter what car you review or have family always comes first I would hate to see anything happen especially if your channel continued to grow. Keep doing what you do and I enjoyed watching this video as you are a genuine car reviewer compared to the big names out there.

Thank you Michael, I truly appreciate your comments and definitely no offense taken! As for my brother, he technically wears his seat-belt every time, he just out of habit prefers to put the "over-the-chest" strap behind him to be more comfortable. It doesn't make it much better, I know, but I'll be more mindful in reminding him more, as I tend to forget his habit myself a lot, lmao. As such, I'm happy you enjoyed watching--if you haven't already don't forget to subscribe to be able to come along for more of our future adventures! Lots of content is coming! Thank you :)

Great review. Just take out 70 percent of “honestly “ and 90 percent of “like I said”

Thank you for both watching and your feedback. It can be difficult at times to realize things like that from your own perspective--I'll try to be more mindful and more fluid with what I'm trying to convey. Coming completely off the top of the head has it's pro's and cons :( Once again, thank you, it's very much appreciated! :D

Feedback... seat adjustment controls is one of the most important decision making points in purchasing a vehicle... and you have conveniently skipped that.... next time keep that in mind

The direct injection concerns me ....the carbon build-up is a PITA. I decided to get the Elantra Limited. It's port injection and has all the features you could want. The only downside is it's smaller, slower, and has worse driving dynamics than the Sonata.

Having a 335i which is also notorious for carbon build-up (direct injection only), I would say that unless you plan on keeping this vehicle for a long time to come, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As in the case with my vehicle, you usually wouldn't have to worry about carbon build-up affecting performance until about 70,000 miles, give or take--of which a simple walnut blast can take care of for about $300. A lot of people questioned Lexus years ago when they initially implemented both PI & DI in the IS350; they were one of the few if not the only ones doing it at the time that I can recall. Look who has the last laugh now, haha. My personal take is, unless you drive a pretty good amount yearly (say 18k+)/as well as plan to keep it past 5 years, I wouldn't be too concerned. :)

@@ViewsFromTheHeart I've heard of instances where people were getting rough idle and engine warning lights due to carbon build-up after just 10-15k miles. That's absurd to have to spend $300-500 for a walnut shell blast after just 10k miles. Seems like VW/Audi and Hyundai/Kia are the worst for this.

Interesting, that is quite excessive. Must be an inept manifold design coupled with the small space of an Inline-4. And that would make sense considering the prevalence of Inline-4's within VW and Hyundai/Kia. That's also why I personally wouldn't want to own a turbocharged Inline-4 long term/outside of a lease.

I have a 2014 Elantra GT with the NA 2L GDI I use as a long commuter with 120k on it. I’ve used CRC at evert oil change and run a scope to view valves every 6 months or so. Valves have been virtually spotless. Other than using E-free gas and synthetic oil changes at 5k I’ve done nothing but drive the crap out of the vehicle and has no more than it’s inherent light GDI tick sound at idle. Runs strong and still average 35 mpg on the highway. No complaints.

SEAT BELTS........PLEASE......dah

Don't worry, my brother actually has his seat belt on! Granted it doesn't necessarily excuse it, he just prefers putting the over-body strap behind him at times to be more comfortable due to his height. :)

If that car is a 2018/2019 Sonata Limited with PREMIUM INFINITY RADIO, the treble control doesn't work on it! Hyundai and Infinity should have fixed this problem by now! I knew I should have bought the HONDA ACCORD 2.0T... the radio would have worked as it should!
BUY a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Limited Turbo or WAIT for the 2020 Sonata?
