I' m 4' 8," 113lbs. Would this Bobber be a great fit for me? I used to Ride a 2003 Honda Rebel. The Honda Shadow VLX 750 and the Harley Sportsters and Harley Low Riders are a little bit Big and a little bit Heavier for me. This Indian Bike is an Awesome Bobber.

So I've had my bobber since May. Stage 1,led headlight and corbin seat. Each mod has made a positive difference especially the seat. Comfy and you don't slide back. Stock seat is horrific. Sounds loud as hell and gets plenty of attention, especially from sportster riders, who just can't keep up. Cracking bike... And a keeper.

Nice bike... My friend is talking me into getting a bike, would be my first one... We stopped by the dealer the other day and I saw this blue 2020 on the showroom floor... fell in love... So I decided to watch some videos on the bike to check out reviews... Crazy... this was the second video I watched... I was sitting in my truck at the Circle K across from the Wawa you filled up at... I live and work around the corner from where you started and used to work near where you ended... I recognized the whole trip... lol... nice review... thanks, it made up my mind...

bought this bike 6 months ago something to keep in mind -its not a great turner -factory is very quite -the foot peg wear out faster than other bikes -it has a built in governor at 120 mph -the seat is horrible, its biggest downfall -it runs extra hot all in all, 100% worth the buy

Personally I'd get a used dual sport. Something like an xr650l or a dr650se. Those things are bomb proof, and a causal parking lot drop won't set you back a $1000 for repairs because you dented and scratched some critical components. Either way you go it's fun as hell

Indian scout all the way. Get good seat for it and u r good. Ive ridden scout and bobber scout yesterday as well as 114 breakout. Both indians are superior to hd. I wouldnt buy any harley after riding indian. Superior in every way. And trust me, i wanted a harley. But The Indian is just way to good for the money u have to spend on it. Get the regular one tho. U r pretty much my size and i was a bit to cramped up on scout bobber. Breakout was the perfect fit for me, but i guess with accessory handlebar and adjusting foot cntrl u could simulate tho. Get the accessory exhaust to. But then also buy earplugs to enjoy longer rides. Also the stock indian scout has such good aerodynamics that i was punching 160kmh and it was comfortable without any flyscreen. Breakout was windy at 120kmh already and wasnt so flickable due to its fat back tire.

6'4 220lbs here. Havent had chance to try the bobber im curious how I'd fit on it. Could I reach the handle bars without leaning forward or can I sit with straight back? My dad has the scout and it fits me perfect. I like design of the bobber but from everything im seeing and hearing the seat and rough suspension is turning me away. The scout rides smooth and has comfy seats. Nice video.

I’m 6’3” & 185. You’d be leaned forward a bit but that’s easily fixed with mini apes or 8” custom bars. Obviously the seat can be traded for the Indian comfort seat or an aftermarket. Same with suspension if you feel it necessary - Fox, progressive 444s are just a few examples. Also they offer extended reach foot pegs if desired.

hey Blockhead i know what you mean about the rider triangle but did you know on the FXDR the bars are adjustable so you bring them towards you and then adjust the pole part to get the wrist angle you want. I guess Harley just has them set for people a little taller to start.

Its his opinion which is subjective and objective. Im a Harley owner but if I was buying a bike in this price range I would choose the Scout over the Sportster line, and I've ridden them all. This is a bike HD should have built.

Would this or the Scout be a better bike for someone getting into street bikes from riding dirt bikes after not riding for a few years?

I have a question . I'm looking for my first bike, I'm 53 years. Rode plenty of dirt bikes, never a street. I have been looking at Indian Scout and Harley 883 Iron. Any suggestions???? I ha e noticed that the scout doesn't have room for a passenger. Thanks

Get a bigger bike, you'll want one pretty quick anyways. Take the 1200 or put a kit on the Iron.

I love my 2019 Scout Bobber but the only things I don't like is there's no wheel lock and the exhaust gets hot fast. Great bike though I'm loving it.

I remember when bikes had a "choke" when sstarting up in the morning. Why do yo uneed 93 octane?

I run 99 octane in the UK, it's good stuff. Zero knock, smoother power, it's all good.

Yeah there's some exhaust options. I know this is an older comment, but look up the Hacker Mayhem 2-1 system. You will not be disappointed

It actually has a much lower growl to it than what it sounds like on the video. That being said, no it isn't loud, but not everyone likes ear splitting pipes. If I change mine, it won't be to make it loud.

About time you review the Indian Bobber, and get off the Harley kool aid. Indian did a great job on that bike, looks, performance, and price range. Looks like a missile, and ride like one when you get on it.

Looking for advice, I have never ridden a motorcycle before but am going to start on the classes to get my license. I've looked at many bikes and honestly love this bike, I've heard mixed comments on it for tall people (I'm 6'3). But I don't think I should get it as first bike right out the gate. Would anyone recommend it for me being a good one to get for a first bike or do you have recommendations for a good first bike. Thank you in advance.

What do you think of the Indian compared to an Iron 883 with a 1275 kit?
@torres7918

they are water cooled, that is why you get that soft sound and not that thundering sound of a harley that is air cooled.

I have had some bad luck. In boot camp I did something to "something" in my trap/shoulder/neck, I have been to the doc plenty of times and they have no clue, but when I had my GSXR 600 it would burn the hell out of that spot. When I had a Harley Sportster it wasn't much of a problem. I am hoping my next bike is the same and I have no issues with it. I am not sure what route I am going to go, I think any sport/super bike is going to give me pain issues, so a Harley or Indian is probably the route to go, I have also been looking at the Yamaha Bolt but I gotta be honest I grew up around Harley motorcycle club and have been put in that mindset, but the Bolt is nice.
