So I've had my bobber since May. Stage 1,led headlight and corbin seat. Each mod has made a positive difference especially the seat. Comfy and you don't slide back. Stock seat is horrific. Sounds loud as hell and gets plenty of attention, especially from sportster riders, who just can't keep up. Cracking bike... And a keeper.

Indian scout all the way. Get good seat for it and u r good. Ive ridden scout and bobber scout yesterday as well as 114 breakout. Both indians are superior to hd. I wouldnt buy any harley after riding indian. Superior in every way. And trust me, i wanted a harley. But The Indian is just way to good for the money u have to spend on it. Get the regular one tho. U r pretty much my size and i was a bit to cramped up on scout bobber. Breakout was the perfect fit for me, but i guess with accessory handlebar and adjusting foot cntrl u could simulate tho. Get the accessory exhaust to. But then also buy earplugs to enjoy longer rides. Also the stock indian scout has such good aerodynamics that i was punching 160kmh and it was comfortable without any flyscreen. Breakout was windy at 120kmh already and wasnt so flickable due to its fat back tire.

The main thing I keep hearing about these on the down side is back hurting after only a little while of riding. It must be the angle of the foot pegs and bar position allowing back strain.

6'4 220lbs here. Havent had chance to try the bobber im curious how I'd fit on it. Could I reach the handle bars without leaning forward or can I sit with straight back? My dad has the scout and it fits me perfect. I like design of the bobber but from everything im seeing and hearing the seat and rough suspension is turning me away. The scout rides smooth and has comfy seats. Nice video.
@DeadHeadJohnny3 жыл бұрын
I’m 6’3” & 185. You’d be leaned forward a bit but that’s easily fixed with mini apes or 8” custom bars. Obviously the seat can be traded for the Indian comfort seat or an aftermarket. Same with suspension if you feel it necessary - Fox, progressive 444s are just a few examples. Also they offer extended reach foot pegs if desired.

I have had some bad luck. In boot camp I did something to "something" in my trap/shoulder/neck, I have been to the doc plenty of times and they have no clue, but when I had my GSXR 600 it would burn the hell out of that spot. When I had a Harley Sportster it wasn't much of a problem. I am hoping my next bike is the same and I have no issues with it. I am not sure what route I am going to go, I think any sport/super bike is going to give me pain issues, so a Harley or Indian is probably the route to go, I have also been looking at the Yamaha Bolt but I gotta be honest I grew up around Harley motorcycle club and have been put in that mindset, but the Bolt is nice.
