Thanks. There seems to be a similar update on the way for the MU-X, yes. But Isuzu is yet to provide any official details. We suspect it will arrive some time in 2021.

The 2020 Isuzu MUX in the Philippines updated only the Head unit. it has Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Its a shame Australia gets this dash which looks outdated. Amazing true 4x4 which should have been updated with new dash as seen in the model released in China.

Pretty much a ute with a canopy, nothing flash for the price, pretty agricultural overall, we have them as company cars, if your after city driving comfort, forget it, if you want a genuine rural vehicle with no bells and whistles this is the one. In my opinion Australia is held back by wowsers who gained government support in reducing land cruisers and large US made 4x4s by introducing luxury car and import tax and so the vehicles with true comfort and versatility are over priced for the average buyer, so the market is stuck with asian brands that are also overpriced for what they are. There’s nothing stopping the US market converting vehicles in the states for the Australian market with the right government incentives, especially when Australia has no car manufacturing market.

I read online they will only be doing minor updates because the current mux/dmax is at the end of it's life. So they won't be doing many updates because of the Colab with Mazda for the new Dmax next year.

I went for a test drive.i like everything about it except for the poor interior. The cheap plastic trims around the interior feels like I am driving a 2010 made vehicle

Judging by this video he doesn't know much 4wd's or how they handle off road. You can take the MUX serious 4wding without a difflock. Just watch some of the 4wd action videos on youtube and see where Graham Cahill takes the Dmax for proof. Pretty much the same car.

Thanks for your comment. This is PerformanceDrive - we don't specialise in off-road stuff. This was put together to help the general buying public and not necessarily the hardcore 4x4 fans. Of course, there are other videos out there that showcase the D-Max in tougher conditions.
