How you mean the battery killed the battery? I have been watching part 1 and 2 and don't get it. I have problem with my jeep grand cherokee limited 4,7L V8 from 2003. Old battery died, i bought a new one but after 1-2 days when car just standing it is also dead. I started to think of the altenator, but it seems ok. So any idea now? 🤷🏼‍♂️ I have leaved the car to an mechanic, i hope they can help me.

I had a big truck with two batteries and one battery was bad and drawing current from the other battery, as it sat, as I understand it.

I did not think this was possible, I was thinking unplug the alternator late in the video as I have seen an internal short several times. I see some shops only change the AUX battery due to some STOP START problems. I believe it is in print somewhere that recommends that both batteries be changed together as they are tied together and charged together. In some Jeeps, the 2 batteries are not located together but they still ought to be changed together and then, QUESTION, does a Jeep need a battery reset in the computer?? Thanks for all the great diagnostic or technician-level videos, I don't watch the DIY-type videos based on the name of the video, this is why the Title of the video is so important IMHO, cheers.

Woow!! Great find! My 2019 started doing the same thing (also, no horn on locking the car). I took it to Napa Autoshop, they tested the battery and said that the battery it's good. Should I test the small battery separately and change it? Thank you.

the small battery is weak and getting charge by the other battery that cause battery drain you did not do battery test is only thing that make sense to me

I agree. The reason why I did not do battery test because its obvious that the test is going to indicate a bad battery as it dies quickly. I have diagnosed many power drain vehicles with dead or bad batteries. This one was tought. I am glad I record it and in the future I will always recommend to replace both batteries if the car has more than one even if only one is bad.
