Exhaust sounds horrid on autos, not you particular. Just have yet to find would that sounds even ok. Great video for those those wanting to do it

Do you think that exhaust made by awe other than the tips will fit the mk7 that’s made for the mk6 Jetta ? Same motor is the exhaust routed differently?

Justin L I haven’t looked into it and don’t know much about the exhaust setup but you can definitely go to a shop have them lift the car and see if the exhaust would be compatible on the car minus the tips. Mk6 and mk7 essentially have the same engine and same undercarriage

Just wait a few months and there will be tons of stuff available for the mk7. It's a completely different car, i doubt much mk6 stuff would fit.

It's the 8spd torque converter transmission, not the dsg. Although they do make the farts its just how these ecu's are programed when shifting. Also yeah the 1.4

@@ManhattenA5 do you have any problem and is it worht it. Mine is 75k km+ and doing uber 4-5 a day do u think it i will give me any hard time with engine problems or mpg increases ?

@@aib150 by now I have sold the car and picked up a 2021 gti. But it was fun when I had it. Although I'm not sure if youll pass the vehicle inspection from uber. Might wanna check before doing so. No issues when i had it just lots of smiles. I did notice better mpg as the exhaust was breathing better. Felt light on its feet too. I'd recommend it.

Chenming Zhao no engine light I only removed the resonator and muffler not the catalytic converter. Have no issues at all.

This was my old setup with just no res and no muffler, now I have a CTS 3" downpipe installed much better In terms of noise and performance
