The Drowsy Chaperones KILLED ME! Amazing facial expression, great comedic timing, and obviously amazing voices. They both shone individually while being amazingly in sync and playing off each other. Great job to them and all of the other amazing performers!

So.. the two drowsy chaperones did phenomenally. Everyone brought their own twist to these characters and it is indeed why they made it to the jimmy awards but we need to address Elyse Bell...my dear do you know that you are a star ? When you were singing it was as if no one was on that stage with you. How graceful for what ? A 17 year old ? That is insane ! I would absolutely not be surprised if a revival came back to broadway and Elyse was handpicked. With further training and practice there are absolutely some Tony’s in her future !

I don't understand why people aren't talking about Marisa. She has an incredible stage presence, she never missed a beat, brought me into her world the second she started singing. She was convincing from beginning to end and her character commitment was incredible. Her voice is unreal, too. Overall, maturity beyond her years and a stage presence that is undeniable. I hope to see her on Broadway one day.

The thing that enamors me about the two Drowsy Chaperones is that they play off themselves so well, yeah, but it's because neither of them are insecure in their performance. They each have such unique and distinct voices that works well with the role, so they're able to fully appreciate the other while also holding their own. While one is singing you can catch the other looking on affectionately, proudly towards the other. Such a beautiful and special moment.

Note to candidates: Casting directors and college scholarship people view these videos. It is good to be involved in the other person's moment and "act" as if you are present instead of scowling at their talent and abilities. There will be many auditions in your future where you will be singing in a group for a callback. Please remember this one thing: from the moment the auditors call your name, your audition has begun and they will watch every moment of your audition, how you take the stage, how you speak with the accompanist and your reactions to others in the room or the group you might be singing with for that callback. A lot of young performers have what is referred to as the "spotlight" mentality on stage. When the light is on them, they perform. Then the moment the light is off of them they return to some level of ennui. Their essence has left the arena. Light on: presence; Light off: lethargy. I am a seasoned theatre professional with several European and National Tours experience as well as a great deal of regional theatre experience. A proud member of Actors Equity. I'll repeat this for emphasis: Your talent will only carry you so far. Your attitude and spirit can win you the job. Be gracious. Be present. Be kind. Someone is always watching.
