2019 Kia Stinger Premium AWD Review & Test Drive

On this episode of 1st Drive, Angelique gives us an in-depth review and test drive of the 2019 Kia Stinger Premium AWD Sedan. This Stinger is in eye-cathing HiChroma Red with black leather interior.
The Stinger sports a 2.0L Turbo-GDI 4 Cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 255hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. It is also loaded with Kia's suite of driver-assist safety features like blind spot sensing, lane departure assist and Smart Cruise Control.

I just bought this here in Europe moving back from Dubai. I had never heard of it and not many for sale here so decided to buy just on the specs. Who in Europe still buys a 367hp sports sedan? Me! It looks and drives great but I have to admit I miss my Sequoia I had for 6 years. I still have my 2003 (D2) Audi A8L W12 6.0L in Dubai so whenever I go there I'm sure I'm driving in style but this Kia for European standards stands out. Amazing sound coming out of the exhausts too. Loving it. Affordable too.

I appreciate this review very much. I am considering a 19 Stinger Premium AWD. It is a shame that the premium trim and its features are no longer offered by Kia. The GT line is pretty basic.

JD Powers review also rates them near the top for quality and reliability. We've owned our Kia's for 7 years now and never had any issues. Traded my Optima for the Stinger. Our other car a little Cerato hatch has done over 173,000 kms and never missed a beat.

Disappointing that it doesn't come with heated rear seats I have that in my 2015 Hyundai sonata it would have also been nice if they would have put a panoramic sunroof
