Video time 2:14:25/22:00:00 - Game time 4th qtr 1:33 2nd and 12. Had QB #8 Juan Carter for Norfolk State thrown this ball over the outside shoulder of the streaking receiver the Old Dominion Monarchs #1 Lance Boykin would not have been able to make a play on the ball. It would have been a house call for the Spartans because no one was over there. The safety and strong safety had come up to defend on the play and were lined up off to their left Norfolk State's right. Good job to both teams for an exciting thriller to open the 2019 season. WE ARE NORFOLK, VA and College Football is alive and well.

ODU is FBS now, time to upgrade the production quality of its broadcasts. This is not acceptable at that level.

Lol. I think we let you on y'all and it got out of hand. We scored when we needed to. NSU is the reason why we had a stadium there in 2005 to start football with. Do a little research my man.

I mean the stadium was build in 1936 for the Norfolk Division of William Mary, which was renamed Old Dominion in 1963. So it was technically originally build for ODU, but when ODU discontinued their football program in 1941 they did not need to use it. It became the site of the Oyster Bowl, and even held a NCAA Championship game in 1959. NSU did use the stadium throughout the 80s and 90s, though it seems to have been build by and for ODU/William Mary about a year after NSU was founded in 1935.
