NEOPLAN used to catalog a bus similar to this in the USA over 15 years ago when they had a manufacturing plant in Colorado. The only version of a bus similar to this was used by NASA at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Florida during the time frame that the Shuttle was being run. NEOPLAN also made articulated transit buses sold in several large US Cities, Houston, TX. & NYC had quite a few articulated transit buses for over 15 years. Houston auctioned their articulated buses off inventory at least 10 years ago after NEOPLAN withdrew from the US Market. Only SETRA has been moderately successful it this market.
