Petzl equipment is unparalleled. But one fact caught my attention in the video ... What is the need to use two anchor plates ???

Sandes wilton almeida rigging paws should always be doubled up pal. If you look at the new dmm rigging plates they screw together

Sandes wilton almeida none my friend but it’s one of these conversations that has raised it’s head in the industry in the last year or so that it should be double protection the same as everything else

Thank you for listening, my friend. My questions were precisely because we know of this recommendation here in Brazil, and many have questioned the real need for a backup on the anchor plates, finding it unnecessary and even harmful to carabiners. It even makes jokes that soon we will have to wear two harness !!!

i see you use steel carabiners on the Petzl ID and RIG, do you see an excessive wear on the plates of the device? or is it the same as using other aluminium carabiners?

Seeing how the handle automatically returns to the lock position, can it still be used as a belay device by holding it at 90 degrees to the load?
