This is a first class review, informative and with good humor. I particularly appreciate the balanced opinions on the various aspects of the car. Cheers! Dilly! Dilly!

I’m currently looking at a 2019 in the exact model with the black wheels but as you’ve said, the knowledge of the latest release of the 2008 is 100% holding me back even with the great prices I’m obviously being offered
@newmotoring4 жыл бұрын
It depends if you’re fussed about the new design etc. and what kind of deal you’re being offered. The new Peugeot 2008 will feel more modern, but if you’re being offered a ‘new’ old 2008 for thousands less... You’re still getting a new car, you could just go on holiday, too 🏝

As the owner of an auto version of the reviewed car I agree with all of it, except personally I much prefer the look of the old (this) one, the new one is much bigger and I have yet to see a sensible colour, they look awful in orange or blue and they are terribly expensive. Get yourself an original 2008 while you still can, it's great

The automatic version is great. I've got one. Peugeot manuals are meh but autos are good as made by Aisin (Toyota). Such a bargain 2019 versions now for £12k ish. New 208 and 2008 are so overpriced get one of the previous ones while you still can.

Good presenting style, it would be also good to see space in the rear seats and boot area. And at 4:15 possibly not the best way of clearing snow from a windscreen!

Nice review. The 2008 looks slightly old fashioned but no doubt it is very capable. Prefer them in lighter colours though.

That's a 2017, while the model hasn't changed until late 2019 its fucking infuriating when these youtubers mis label their videos!

Enjoying you work Sean. I believe the next 2008 will share it's platform with the next gen Vauxhall mokka x now Peugeot own the group. I think I would wait like you for the new model that's coming late next year. If it's like it's bigger brother the 3008 Peugeot have a winner. Cheers.

You mentioned towards the end in this video that you knew the direction which Peugeot is taking its SUVs. Could you please give a brief explanation about that if possible. Thanks in Advance.

Timur Hafouz Peugeot have just released the latest images of the new 2008 and the e-2008, they’re beautiful looking cars and look like smaller versions of the 3008 and 5008.

What Sy said. The new 20078 has a similar design to the 3008 and 5008. Have a look at the images on Google 📷

As Chris Lyme Regis says, the title says "2019" but the plate says "17" 🙄

I have the 2008, the Blue HDI version. Sadly no grip control. It is a great car to drive, but I MUST put in that after last winter, you have to have 4 season tyres at least. (Mine does not- yet) Otherwise a great car

Currently have one on hire, awful car! Build quality poor, clutch biting point very high. The car is brand new and feels like it's done 60k miles. Can't wait to get our Yeti back.....
