2019 polaris general cage chop

how to chop your stock rear cage on a polaris general.

Looks way better. My first RZR 1000 I was nervous to chop the cage but couldn't stand how it looked so I just dove in and it turned out awesome. My newer RZR didn't even see the trail before I chopped it.

Good job, thanks for the good explanation. When you pulled the back down with the ratchet straps does that change the geometry of the front? I don’t want to lose my windshield..

It rakes it back some. You can see my windshield and sound system is still installed with no issues

What is the overall height of the machine now? Is it able to fit in the enclosed trailer?

I have a enclosed trailer with I believe 7 foot ceilings and a happijac bed and it just fits now completely under it. Before it was rubbing and wouldn't pass the dove tail. I can probably put 29s on now

Yes. Rear is higher then the front
