Thanks for this video! It was extremely helpful. One thing I’ll say, for those of us with 60,000 miles worth of dried mud under there, be prepared for a face full of rocks and dirt! My plug was also very difficult to pull apart since it was practically glued shut from the mud. But this video was awesome and made it a fairly easy job.

Good video. My bolt that came with the step was actually 19mm. And no torquing those bolts. Got em as tight as possible.

No idea if you are still watching comments on this video since its a year old but just picked up a 2022 Big Horn that already had this installed and I have a question. Since it was already installed on the truck there was no paperwork specific to the step. Did the paperwork that came with yours have any reference around weight limit for the step?

Okay I have a question I have a Ram 1500 classic 2021 it's exhaust is on the right side and I'm looking at it underneath and the holes or bolts don't seem to match up do I have the wrong part? Why is this Ram Rebel different? I am looking at it and that hitch assembly is different from mine that chasis itself also has no eyelet slot or threaded hole for the provided bolt. Should I return this part rather then have someone invent a foothold for it?

The classic is based on the old platform so it will most likely not work as it’s designed for the 5th gen platform.
