That sucks that Ram is done offering the Hemi. That engine was a moneymaker, and no Hemi V8 is a dealbreaker for me. I want a truck that sounds like a truck rather than a Honda, Nissan, or a BMW. I will only get a 2024 or earlier Ram 1500 if I see a deal on one. Sure it provides more power, but that is at the cost of a thin-walled aluminum I6 with turbos. No-thanks! I am nineteen, and I always wanted a new Ram truck. Well…not anymore. I’ll either get a used Ram or a new Chevrolet or Ford.

Gotta get those resonators off of there. Makes a huge difference. Did it on mine and there’s still zero drone. On the highway you wouldn’t even know there’s an exhaust on it.

Get rid of the stock resonator and put in a flow fx muffler the cylindrical type

Did your stock muffler have a single in single out? Did you cut the y pipe out after the stock muffler?

The stock was single in so everything was kept the same, the new muffler was put on after the Y.

Sounds good, sounds similar to my Magnaflow 18”… any drone? I’m about to remove the resonators off the rear of mine. Could start I love it, needs just a little bit more after it warms up.

It's very similar to a magnaflow -- drone isn't bad but I kept the resonators on to keep the drone down.

Is the Flow fX better than a chambered muffler?

It depends on the sound you're going for, I personally like it a lot more. Chambered has a more rattly/raspy where the FloxFX like Magnaflow is a deep smooth tone.
