My father has a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel extra cab long bed and he's put running lights and lights up front on the porch bar but he mounted a set of train horns under the bed of the truck he ended up getting a little bit dagre air compressor and ran a extra line to the back of his bumper by the license plate and connected a air hose so now when he goes on the beach fishing or happens to check the tire pressure he can turn the air pump on and off check his tire pressure and if he goes fishing on the beach he can lower the tires down and when he's ready to get back onto the highway he can pump the tires back up I think it's a great idea because yes it's easy to get an air pump with a battery but this way everything's hooked up just needs to connect the hose into the back bumper and he's already to put air into his tires it's different and that's what makes it so great

You should look into getting the alfaobd software. The cost to get into it initially will be a little more then what you paid for the dealership flash but it's a one time fee and you'll be able to go into your bcm to add option codes and make changes whenever you want. There are a few threads about it on the forums and everything you can do plus it works on multiple other Chrysler vehicles. You'll need to purchase the software, a good obd2 bluetooth scan tool that has a high frequency for communicating back and forth between your computer and bcm I went with obdlink mx, and the security bypass module for 2018+ model year Chrysler vehicles I got mine from infotainment.com. Some of the things you can alter you can also change with your tazer like drl location but I was able to remove the fog light drop out when the high beams come on as well as add a few features the truck didnt come with from the factory and anytime I add something else like the mopar bed light kit that requires a dealer flash I can just do it at home in a few minutes.

@Daniel Capers no problem, the 2019+ rams aren't shown on the alfaobd software yet but you just choose the latest model option available which is the 2017 bcm I believe and connect to that and it will still work just fine.

Steve, see if when you turn your hazard flashers on if the bed lights come on. And if when you press the button on your left bed light if your hazards come on. Chances are you are pinned in the wrong spot. It happened to me.

Listen the dealer screwed up on your bed lighting . I had my dealer install mine and flash it. It turns on when you open the tailgate and turns off when you close it. It can also be turn on / off manually or by the key fob. It also has a 10 min power off if you forget to close the gate .

I got the Tazer DT and was so jacked about all the features also. I have been trying to install the front camera for about 3 months now. I have yet to figure out a way to get it done. I have tried every way possible and still no success. I am really looking forward to seeing what ideas you have about this!!!!

Are the tolerances on the tailgate on the passenger side tight? I have the exact truck and it hits the side sometimes and the paint is chipping now. Rambox tolerances on 5th gen is way off compared to standard bed. Dealership has no fix and is escalating it because 4 new, unsold, trucks on the lot were doing the same thing. It's just with the ram boxes on the 5th gen, the 4th gen are good.

Tazer claims to do way more than a light show can you show any of the other functions? Like Calibrate speedometer for non-factory tire sizes,Configure vehicle for gear ratio changes, Disable Tire Pressure Monitoring System warnings, or modify PSI settings, Enable/Disable Daytime Running Lights. Hi man , I have a question about my 2020 rebel, when the truck is turned off, the electrical outputs are still on. I can still charge my phone and my dash cam is still on. Sometimes it is really annoying, I have to unplug my dash cam every time when I turn off the truck. Do you have the same issue? If you do, do you know how to fix it? Thank you.

Check you vehicle off settings... you can change the accessory off times from 0 seconds all the way to 10 minutes.

Quentin Tingle it doesn’t mess with the pcm it just is a separate module that allows you to access what your truck can do that normally you couldn’t change without a trip to the dealer it can be removed in minutes if you needed to take it in for something
