I recently picked up a 2019 2500 LTZ Duramax, good time to buy and much better looking than the 2020's

Is it expensive to maintain a truck like this are they good trucks? I’m really considering buying a 2019 high country

Give it to me in blue with a 6 inch lift and 36 inch tires and it's my dream truck!!!

Lift kit? Must be more worried about dropping panties at the trailer park than you are about getting work done.

@@cm01 lol na, just love being so high up while driving and having a commanding view or the road! Oh and I meant 37" tires. My current truck is a 2003 Chevy 2500HD 4 door short bed with a Durumax diesel and a 6 inch lift and 37 inch tires and some aftermarket parts that put her in the 800lb-ft of torque range but I usually only run her around 650lb-ft of torque cuz I don't want to burn up my transmission, she is red so I call her Big Red and have vanity plates to match, I would have liked blue but it's all good cuz red is my second favorite color

Does it come with power running boards?
@WesternGMDrumheller4 жыл бұрын
Hey Joe, you can add power running boards to any of the 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. In Alberta due to the many muddy gravel roads and slushy wintery roads our customers here in Drumheller often don't want them as they stick and don't work due to the conditions, cheers!

I want to know why there's two different looks for this year?
@WesternGMDrumheller4 жыл бұрын
For this generation no. For the new 2020 Generation yes! The WT is an all black front end. The mid level trims and the High Country have two different front ends so three different options!

The 2020's are rated at 35,050 lbs towing and worth the wait.

So your “better soft front supination” your talking about is called a cv axel and thoes are a hit or miss if you go on a dirt road that’s decent and put it in 4 high pullin more than 7,000 pounds you can kiss them goodbye along with 1900 Bucky to have them fixed and replaced

Also that new hood design has already had 2 recalls. The 6.6 itself is a iffy engine, they beat the heads up a lot kind of like the old 6.0 powerstrokes

First off Andre the Giant as your profile pic is awesome! Secondly we live in an area where 50% of our driving is on grid/gravel roads and issues surrounding towing and what not is a non issue with the redesigned trucks, gas included. I just spoke to our service Manager and we have had Zero 6.6L HD Gas trucks in with a check engine light yet alone major engine issues like your suggesting. A close friend of mine has 35,000kms of oil field operation on his 6.6L Gas Silverado Custom 2500HD and he's hard on his stuff due to where he's using it and he's had Zero issues with his. Cheers.
